As it says in our description, one of our objectives was to explore and deliver different aspects of sound, so this week, on the 28th episode of our series, we’re having our first Hard Techno DJ, JAIDE.

Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, since her adolescence, JAIDE started developing love and passion for music and started playing drums and consolidated a family band. 
At the age of 18, she started getting into DJ’ing, but a year later she discovered Techno and knew that it was her true passion.

Ever since, she’s been constantly pushing her boundaries, building her own style and career. JAIDE pushes a harder, faster techno sound influenced by the European rave scene and she is not afraid to express herself through her style of music.

In 2020 she started her own electronic music based platform, TKOVR, where she showcases various dj's across South Africa and internationally. She has also recently founded a new collective, Red Tape Rave, which focuses strictly on faster and harder techno styles.
