Sparse notes on the piano unearth a buried, abandoned past seeking to be reconciled from an inevitable absence. Somewhere lies an innate sense of calm… this refuge peaceful, tranquil.

The windy city of Esbjerg, is where i've had my residency for the past 3 years. It is a strange city, filled with both heartwarming people as well as a carpet of solitude. The city is furthest to the west as you can go in Denmark, the opposite side of Copenhagen where i'm from. Esbjerg is the last city before the seventh sea.

"Seventh Sea" is the first of 4 singles, all inspired by the city of Esbjerg and the surrounding areas.

Recorded at Huset Esbjerg in Denmark with a Yamaha U1 upright piano.
