I.L.R. Studios venture into deeper territory with the original Stop Motion. It is comprised of thumping basslines and sonic booms backed with mystic vocals which creep their way up the spinal cord with a fluid grace. We are given a cinematic version from Loomis in his prominent style filled with groove and soul. A great example of the versatility of this record label.

Dan Guidance is back baby!  Offworld Recordings presents the One Possible Future EP from Dan himself, an array of forward-thinking dnb smashers with a synthwave influence. 
Title track One Possible Future opens with saturated synths galore and Dan's signature rhythms.  Pianos and stabs accentuate this one until it builds into a juggernaut of futuristic drum and bass bliss.
Assignment Outer Space starts strong and never slows down. Melodic. Danceable. Amazing.   
Hypnagogia is the transitory state between dreaming and wakefulness and this song encapsulates this perfectly.  Warm pads and guitars bring us back to better days while the beats roll on and on.
Finally Wonders Of The World steps up and knocks us all down with its deep subs and snappy drums.  Bursting at the seams with feelings, this EP is out of this world.  Dan guidance lives up to his namesake and guides us all to a future we never knew we needed.

‘Affection’ from Brainwork & mnml sets the tone with sci-fi pads, a dash of computer bleeps, emotive vocal samples, crisp drums and rich bass all find their space creating a vast sea of vibes. Wavey!

Aaron Payne follows with ‘This Ain’t Happening’. Snappy drums and pulsating ambient sounds carry us into Aaron’s world of twisting bass and sci-fi glitches. Seasoned with a smattering of house style soul vocal samples that lift the track into the next dimension. It’s alive!

‘Myth of Myself’ from Istoria brings deep meditative vibes from the outset. Tight drums and smooth bass are the perfect backdrop for Istoria to weave his dark magic into. Spellbinding!

Lastly we have ‘Aura’ courtesy of Hobzee & Uneven. Rolling drums lead us into a late night jazzed out expedition with weighty bass, trumpet samples and croaky voiced jazz guy samples to seal the deal. Deep vibrations!

Akuratyde’s Deleted Scenes EP is a collection of unique and diverse material written during the sessions for his albums Past Lives and Home Movies. Some are outtakes, some were left unfinished until recently, but their exclusion from those albums doesn’t detract from the high quality of these compositions.

The EP begins with “All We Need”, co-written with US drum & bass producer Justin Hawkes. Originally signed to Hospital Records this warm and lush track has finally found a home with this release. “Spring Walk” playfully draws inspiration from other BMTM producers like Frederic Robinson and Kimyan Law. “Panorama” pulls the listener deeper with its glossy nostalgic synthwave melodies courtesy of the elusive Croms. Closing track “Suffer In Silence” features Akuratyde’s trademark melancholy guitar melodies and was written for his aunt who tragically passed away in 2015.

Deleted Scenes is available worldwide on Jan. 27th.
