Our next premiere is a track titled 'Combat' taken from SDB's 'Restrepo' EP due to be released on Amsterdam based label Märked, who are continually putting out some great releases.

No stranger to the label, SDB, who previously featured on their 10th release and as well playing at their label night in Amsterdam in 2018. Residing in the vibrant Saarbrücken in southwest Germany – the city where he wrapped up a package of 3 works. Each track for a different moment in time somewhere in between sound systems and concrete walls. To spice things up we have Repro and AERT – coming from respectively Copenhagen and Rotterdam – bring remixes to the table. All pushing a sound that works really well in the club without compromise.

A feeling of exploring unknown territory strikes down in Combat. The ominous pad breathes caution and really draws a melancholic character. From the beginning the track is searching for the right moment to punch the listener with it’s full power, the moment after the small break that is.

Ireen Amnes is a name that is constantly cropping up alongside some of the most established figures in London and Berlin's techno circuits from  Paula Temple to Aurora Halal, Headless Horseman and many more.

Aside from DJing, Ireen is a fiercely consistent producer and has released a slew of gritty, abstract and hard-hitting tracks on Metempsychosis Records, Hotflush and Kombinat to name a few, and also had one of her releases featured on Vatican Shadow's Berghain 09 mix.

Her debut EP on Instruments of Discipline drops on 23rd May and ahead of its release, we premiere  'Insurgent'. Maximum strength.

Reka X Imperial Black Unit - Todo Avaricia

‘Todo Avaricia’ by Reka and the duo Imperial Black Unit is the result of an immediate and natural connection forged between the three artists, through a jam session that swiftly and intuitively yielded three tracks of stylistically diverse yet demonstrably cohesive sounds. Featuring the sampled voices of Che Cuevara, Pablo Neruda and original vocals by Reka herself, the EP plays the role of an urgent call to action against political and environmental injustice, conveyed via the musical substrate of new beat, industrial and EBM, fused into a landscape of techno and undeniably constructed for the dancefloor. The EP is rounded off with a heavy-hitting remix of the title track by the prolific Umwelt, in his signature dramatic style.

The incredibly talented Romanian artist, Miruna Boruzescu, better known as Borusiade, is set to release her sophomore album via Dark Entries Records on February 7th. 
‘Fortunate Isolation’ LP is perhaps Borusiade’s most personal release to date. Eight songs that capture a bystander witnessing the world as it undergoes drastic changes. 
The closing track of the LP - ‘Follow’ is a slow intergalactic burner which, by all feels, sounds like it’s opening the portal to another galaxy from ‘Fortunate Isolation.’ We are excited to hear where Borusiade takes us from here, and we’ll follow her in the next journey she takes us.
