1) Tell us a bit about yourself and your record collection
 
My name is Felox and I have been spinning records since the mid Nintees.
 
My record collection is pretty heavy on 12" and singles with some proper albums thrown in for good measure. In this respect it's quite a classic DJ collection.
 
Musically it's mostly Soul, Disco-Edits, House and Downbeat. The red thread that connects all my records is a special "groove" that needs to be present in any song that get's into my dj bag.

2) 45/7 is all about celebrating the 7". Can you tell us a bit about what you love about the format.
 
It's a very handy format and the emphasis is most of the time on one track. You instinctively get what the 7" is about musically
which I really like!
 
It's this limitation that inspires me. Just the fact that there is only space on a 7" for two full tracks really makes the format feel more special and curated by the artist as not every song makes it into onto a 7"!
 
3) Can you talk us through your selection for your 45/7 mix?
 
I tried to squeeze the musical journey of a 5 hour vinyl only singles set into one hour of very selected 7" for the 45/7 VINYL CLUB project. From the warm up phase to peak time tracks all the way to the last song of the night. 
 
4) Where can people catch you / listen to your music? 
 
I am currently djing in selected venues in Hamburg / Germany.

Für eine Nacht begeben sich die Disco Boys mit ihren eingemotteten Plattenkoffern zurück in die Zeit ihrer Anfänge. Die Zeit als sie Mitte der 90er House mit Disco Grooves vermischten bis zu den Vorläufern der sogenannten Electronic Dance Music. Die Musik wird wieder Seele haben, Erinnerungen wach rufen und eine unverwechselbare Partynacht versprechen. Wer die Disco Boys schon damals erlebt hat, weiß wovon die Rede ist.
