With his stripped-down emotional love for music and kind soul, Leipzig-bound beatsmith and all round top geezer Luvless has been steadily cementing his reputation as one of contemporary house music’s finest.

Luvless is known for his work with Rose Records – a label he started with four other friends back in 2011 – and a smattering of appearances on several other labels. slamming down dusty disco edits as well as athomspheric house belters. Since 2017 he’s been focussing on his new project Velours Records. a vinyl outlet for different avenues of the Luvless sound and guest appearances by friends.

His music has been described as sweet, gentle even, but banging at the same time. It sometimes pays homage to the old Kerry days with extra magic dust sprinkled on top.

A BETWIXT egy pécsi bázisú, kortárs elektronikus zenével foglalkozó, némiképp szabadelvű műhely, ahol a hangsúlyt a fősodron kívüli izgalmas és finom műfajok kapják. Okoselektronika, jövőből jött hip-hop, törtek és négynegyedek - mindenki megtalálhatja a fogára valót.

Minden BETWIXT buli teljesen egyedi és megismételhetetlen, spontán, organikusan fejlődő, kezdetben szeppenten mosolygó, a végén pedig kedélyesen hancúrozó. 

Akad egy három-négy-öt fős keménymagunk, akikkel rendszeresen találkozhattok. Akadnak remek ízléssel megáldott szárnybontogató producerek, dj-k, akikkel még nem is találkoztatok. És persze akadnak veteránok, akik alig várják, hogy azokat a számaikat pörgethessék, amiket sehol máshol nem játszhatnak. Minden este hangulatát a populáris és underground zenék kiszámíthatatlan együttállása határozza meg, az aktuálisan fellépő 8-10 dj keze által. 

A BETWIXT-et a lelkesedés működteti: a közönség, a fellépők és a szervezők lelkesedése, akiket az új és előremutató stílusok iránti kíváncsiság vonzott egy helyre.

The Pécs-based BETWIXT is a progressive workshop promoting contemporary electronic music, where the emphasis is placed on exciting and fine genres apart from the mainstream. Smart-electronica, hip-hop from the future, breakbeats and 4/4 techno or house – everyone can find what their heart desires. 

Every single BETWIXT party is completely unique and unrepeatable, spontaneous, organically developing. Starting with a bashful smile, and leading to a delightful romp at the end.

As for a typical line-up: we have a small group of three-to-five people whom you can meet regularly. There are singer-songwriters/producers and DJs with excellent taste, you have never met before. And of course, there are veterans who are eager to spin their tracks that they cannot play elsewhere. Every night’s mood is determined by the unpredictable combination of popular and underground music, selected by the performing 8-10 DJs.

BETWIXT is powered by passion: the enthusiasm of the audience, performers and organizers, all attracted to the same place by curiosity for new and innovative genres.
