The unpredictable journey of Archibald Whim - a great progressive rock suite (opera) by Moma

This very classic sounding classic piece is a classic start of a new classic progressive rock suite. "The Unpredictable Journeys of Archibald Whim" is to be a longer batch of bits and pieces describing this somewhat whimsical fellow on his trip around the globe some hundred years ago. This the first piece "Archibald Whim – Prelude" is a full length version of the very start and end of the journey. The next two tracks are in the making, and I do hope to get them all together during this spring. And as always, please do say what you feel, SC is a great place to be when the interaction works!

Archibald Whim The Prelude

This is the second chapter in the suite "The Unpredictable Journeys of Archibald Whim". As the convincing swindler Archibald Whim fool the old geezers in the explorers society he is still driven by the prestige and the naive optimism. But as the steamer leaves old England for a destination far away in the cold Russia, he suddenly realise that this might be his final scam. And the snow falls over a dark harbour in a foreign town...

I Have Just Begun – Archibald Whim II

Yet another piece in "The unpredictable journeys of Archibald Whim". This time its a very short (you can thank me later) interlude in a classic style. Working with Spritfire Labs strings and piano with a little help from my friends – CSSS. The solo cello and viola gives it a more close feel and a somewhat more human touch. 
And yes, this is No.4, but where is then No.3? It is still in the making. The ludicrous disorder in witch the suite is produced is due to the lack of discipline within the writing team. In the end the parts will be put together in a orderly fashion. You have my word...

This time he surface on the vast plains of southern Russia walking in an endless caravan heading for Asia. He seem to have some opinion on the direction, as the weather and the endless trail is a torture. But hey, something is happening up front of the caravan...

Is it thanks to the lack of oxygen on that high mountain? Or is it a fundamental insight hitting him as he finally reach the top? Climbing from the plains up on the ridges Archibald Whim suddenly is capable to see the truth - or is it?
The Unpredictable Journey of Archibald Whim has reach yet another stage, another intriguing part of the story of a lost soul. 
I do hope you like it, although it may be somewhat challenging. It sure was to me stumbling around among the channels and sounds in an endless mix.
