Celebrating the milestone of 50 releases on MOOD Records, label boss Nicole Moudaber has put together this special mix from the MOOD catalogue alongside releasing a remix pack for her collaboration with Carl Cox.

'See You Next Tuesday', the collaboration from Moudaber and Cox originally released in 2014, will now be given new life in the form of remixes by Danny Tenaglia, Solardo, Truncate, Black Asteroid, Raxon and Trunkline. As one of the most popular releases on MOOD, it's an ideal time to reimagine the material.

Following the 'See You Next Tuesday' remixes, 'Mood50: The Best of Mood' will be released with 17 tracks mixed and compiled by Moudaber herself. The compilation features label favorites Pan-Pot, Victor Calderone, Scuba, Gregor Tresher and more.

Moudaber expressed her thoughts on having her esteemed label reach the 50 release milestone in just five years:

"It's been a labor of love and looking back at our 50 releases I feel an immense amount of pride and joy that all the releases can stand the test of time. It's a great platform and creative outlet for me -- if the music is good, then it needs to be heard. If I'm playing it during my sets or on my radio show, then I would release it. I'm excited to share what we have in store from both industry veterans and undiscovered new talent making an impact on the dancefloor where it counts."

Moving to the GVA in the fall of 2016, Kevin was introduced to Vancouver's multi-faceted culture of electronic music. Having a deep love of the arts, and music since a young child, Kevin started branching out into this new-found world. 

After almost 3 years of frequenting Vancouver's underground Tech House, House, and Techno clubs he decided to take the plunge himself in the spring of 2018. 

Bringing almost 4 years of technical and business experience to the field, Kevin plans to bring the 80s and 90s culture of secretive, warehouse raves, back to the present. 

Kevin has plans to create a community of artists working together to building everyone up, allow new artists to get noticed, and share the love of deep hard-hitting beats. 

Being inspired by the disco music of the 1980s, and the house of the early 1990s, Kevin's playing style tends to be more laid back, building and releasing energy. 

His favorite picks tend to be funky Tech House and House beats, hard-hitting Detroit Techno, psychedelic Melodic Techno, and bouncy Deep House.

MOOD Records will provide an exploration in the sounds both produced and supported by the DJ/Producer. Taking in influences from house and techno, and the many amalgamations between the two ends of this wide spectrum, MOOD Records will befit a variety of atmospheres, not simply from genre to genre but from setting to setting.
