I bought this children's guitar at GoodWill for less than $15... I put $6 worth of good nylon strings on it.  And then I just played it.  Maybe I'm out of line... especially since I set the levels too high when recording it.  But there's something about this recording: I guess beauty is in the ear of the beholder...

My own derivative AcoustaTronic version of a Gatlin Brothers creative interpretative of a Trad Gospel tune predicated upon the story of The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32).

There was a young man who had the best of everything
(Oh Yeah) He was the first born of a wealthy man
But he was not satisfied with the best of everything
So he took his possessions in his hand
He traveled far and wide and he tasted worldly pleasure
Deep inside he was lonely without measure
And he wound up in a pig pen when he was nearly left for dead
Then he raised his eyes toward Heaven as he said
