Kieron Boothe is a British rapper and Illustrator hailing from East London. He represents a new wave of UK artists whose music is as much rooted in jazz and soul as in new styles. ‘Out Of Sight’ is the first single from his upcoming EP Views From The Bottom, his second solo-release with Melting Pot Music. With artwork by the man himself. 

Raised in Newham, East London, with family ties in Jamaica (his grandfather is a cousin of reggae legend Ken Boothe), Kieron started rapping at the young age of 11, first emerged on the scene in 2012 and has dropped a total of seven projects since. He has contributed to the first volume of The Silhouettes Project and he has recently been featured on songs by edbl, KeepVibesNear and Nikhil Beats. Graduating in Graphic Design from University of the Arts London has given Kieron the advantage of being able to produce branding and marketing material for his own releases as well as a range of other artists both underground and commercial alike.

Away from the rest of the herd, Kieron is thriving in his own lane as he makes his distinct stamp on the UK Rap scene. Kieron showcases his range with the downtempo single, bridging the gap between Alternative Rap, Lofi and Jazz, ‘Phone Down’ combines smooth samples with reeling lyricism and further demonstrates his ability to write personally yet playfully. 

“After a long conversation with Cotton about where I was at in life and what I was looking for in a relationship, ‘Phone Down’ was written in one afternoon. Something very different for me because I don’t tend to open up and make many love songs and it ended up being my favourite on the project.”

Graduating in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts London has given Kieron the advantage of being able to produce branding and marketing material for his own releases as well as other artists including Jords, Shae Universe and V9, Kieron's days are split between music and drawing with his best work being creating when he lets things flow freely.

Our 71st release is from the legendary STEZO!!! 8 tracks in all (4 previously unreleased) and limited to 300 copies (100 on Colored copies and 200 on standard black). All songs were recorded between 1989-1996 and taken straight from STEZO's vaults! The tracks "Police Story", "Here To School Ya" and "I Have A Dream" were from his 2nd album set for Sleeping Bag Records in 1990 until the project was shelved. The other tracks are from the sought after "Where's The Funk At" 12" and features K-SOLO!! We have also included a remix from DJ FUNKDAT of "Where's The Funk At" that has never been released on wax!!! Get this before it's gone!
