Live recording from the Boda de Muertos event in Puebla for Dia de los Muertos in November 2021. Beautiful 2-day celebration in this magical environment curated By Deborah Vertiz and her team. The 1st night collaboration was done with the Amaya team for a welcome get together in a splendid colonial building.
2 nights with wonderful artists such as Ali Mae, Jenia Tarsol, Nico Stojan, Rovertzon, Lato, and Lovecraft - i hope you enjoy the ride. 1am to 4am high energy but still with a noticeable downtempo and melodic rhythms 🖤

For the 122nd edition of Desert Hut Podcast Series, we’re pleased to welcome Muisca.

Sebastian has been sharing and mixing his tunes through the world since he got his first MK2 back in Paris in 2003. Discovering nightlife at Le Palace in the late 90s and soon collecting vinyl's from Parisian stores like Katapult, Techno Import or Kitsuné, the original inspiration came from the Detroit Scene through Garnier's Rex residencies and the terrific Kill the DJ parties at le Pulp. 
He has been behind the decks throughout the US, Europe, Latin America and currently resides in New York City. Sharing stage with names like Birds of Minds, Unders, Mandrake & Dramian (Mayan Warrior), Carlita, Maga, Bonjour Ben, Djuma Soundsystem, Patrik Khach and Holmar his experience engaging the crowd and technical expertise are praised by the industry. As both a DJ and Music Director at Amaya Mezcal Club in New York, he is well-equipped to take his audience on a unified journey of downtempo, melodic house with deep and dark transporting sounds.

What a fun night in this epic Tribeca loft. After killer sets from @karlimusik and @carmeldj I had the pleasure to close the night with my current favorite bangers. A night that required maybe a touch more indie and melodic tracks due to the acoustic of the wood beamed magnificent room. It was surely one for the books with an energy i had not felt playing in a long time, with sweaty dancing souls all round the booth and an incredible energy on the dancefloor. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Thank you JB for the trust and to my Amaya family for this great night

About this journey:
In the heat of Little Haiti, on a Monday night, a tiny little Italian restaurant serves the best fried artichokes, two colleagues sit at the bar, speak to the server about what to drink... and the recommendation is this fantastic organic Syrah from Northern Rhone: Le Chat Fou. Throughout the night and the many pasta dishes, a melancholy of deep vibes, surrounded by the darkness of the neighborhood, the latin smells and the Tuscan flavors, inspiration is born for a mix. Make it impactful, different, groovy but a bit disturbing. Enjoy El Gato Loco Mix. Merci Eric Texier.
