I love interpreting and making the tracks of others symphonically blend into a track from another.  
I mix with the intention to create a journey with different moods- moods with all the feelings.. that always return to 
L❤️VE (for oneself and others) and a smile. 😊  I love long transitions and layering tracks to create something "new".

Organic/freestyle mixing and always impromptu; I mix what I feel in the moment.  It's not only my way of self-expression and release; it's how I connect with others and those who listen in the hopes that YOU experience whatever it is that you need/want to experience.... Therapeutic grooves..... 💜

Desert Raven, a multi-instrumentalist DJ-Producer based in Denver, Colorado, is the founder of the Mystical Vision music collective (https://soundcloud.com/mystical-vision-podcast), which grew out of the Primordial Grooves music collective, which itself grew out of the Odyssey Music Podcast, which he co-founded with Dirlasion (https://soundcloud.com/dirlasion).

Desert Raven is a musical artist who, for his whole life, has had a deep affinity to dance, to the harmonic and melodic nature of sound, and to the healing and inspiring power of music.  He believes in the power of storytelling as well.  A good song should have a powerful message and journey, with a spirit that moves the listener's soul.  

Desert Raven has grown up and lived around the world, and uses his life experiences in many cultures as the foundation and root of his sound and worldview.

He seeks to create soundscapes with depth and layering of emotion, with extended build-ups and climaxes. He works with music that is primarily longer form and believes that, like our own deeper feelings, good, deep music takes time to surface.  As a storyteller, he embraces the epic storytelling tradition, so his music feels epic in scope and very much like a story.

He seeks the mystical groove in all sounds.  His signature style has grown and matured into an organic, ethnic, psychedelic, trippy sound, with an ancient feel, evoking a mystical vision experience.  He still seeks to explore new soundscapes where possible.  He is a versatile artist.  He has released songs in several genres, from organic house to downtempo to slowtech to psybient to progressive house to melodic techno.  Overall, he seeks to bring the audience close, making even larger events feel like an intimate party among close friends and family, where trust, love, and freedom of spirit are paramount.

His personal approach to composition and production is to infuse deeper, more ambient sounds into all he does, to evoke nature and dreams. He believes ethnic, traditional instruments should be used as much as possible and that they can work beautifully with well-crafted electronic sounds. A bass player at heart, he seeks to create rhythm and harmony that penetrates to the heart and brings the heart of the listener and dancer to a level of energy in sync with, as mentioned earlier, deep feelings. He seeks to find and bring the listener to a place of natural, spiritual illumination, where the listener encounters healing, encouragement, and divine purpose.

This is a spiritual journey, a deeper approach than usual mixes. Serious storytelling. Not just art, not just sounds. Power in the music and message. We want a deeper focus, with a deeper journey, deeper sounds, and and energy that brings us to a place where we sense the spirit of God around and in us.  We want these DJ sets created with serious storytelling, with a sacred message and the power of the ecstatic vision, whereby the storyteller enters a deep emotional state of peace, vision, revelation, and emotional unity in the heart with the eternal and life-giving love of God. The storyteller should include mystical sounds throughout, from great ethno-organic, organic house, slowtech, psychill, psydub, psybient, ambient, downtempo, progressive, dubtech, melodic techno, and whatever else encapsulates the otherworldly found in this world. :)

Taking from the mission and success of the Primordial Grooves project, this will take us back to the beginning energies of mankind, thus "primordial" energy. A exploration of the heart and soul and mind and body to find what makes us connected since the very beginning of mankind. What do we share as human beings and various tribes? This energy empowers and also heals us to the core. It is the life force, so the mix will have that original life force and be share in the way of all stories of the ancient storytelling oral tradition, which make up true history that is passed down from generation to generation.  This brings us to our innermost sanctums of our hearts. This brings us to God!
