Music For Dreams, the Copenhagen-based label spearheading the new movement of Balearic music and electronica, presents ‘Music For Dreams – Copenhagen 2016 Vol #1, featuring their recent digital and vinyl output plus never before released tracks.

Compiled by label founder and Balearic ambassador Kenneth Bager, the album showcases a diverse range of eclectic material including chilled, downtempo and house music from artists such as legendary Cafe Del Mar DJ, Phil Mison’s new album project, Ambala, Ruf Dug, Borneland, DJ Pippi & Kenneth Bager, Emll Germ, and Jose Manuel.

Album highlights include beautiful and mesmerising tracks ‘La Serenata (Dream Of You) by DJ Pippi & Kenneth Bager, ‘Eyes’ by Borneland, Private Nurse (Caius Remix) by Emil Germ, Speedboat by Rug Dug, ‘G -T Salong’ by Golden Ivy, and ‘Coral’ By Bonnie & Klein.

The album contains many new and unreleased tracks including Ambala - Walk With The Dreamers (feat. Laid Back), DJ Leon El Ray - Deep In My Soul (Chillwalker String Mix) (will be released 15th January), The Kenneth Bager Experience feat. Damon C. Scott - Follow The Beat (José Manuel Remix), José Manuel – Congo, Cantoma - Mondo Christo (The Kenneth Bager Experience Edit), Visti & Meyland - Sharing The Light (Payfone Remix), Peter Visti & Kenneth Bager - Madness (feat. Lukas Visti).

The album is released on Music For Dreams on CD and digital on Friday 8th January.

Meet Morning Patrol a shadow-drenched selector from Greater Manchester, where the echoes of distortion and thunderous riffs shaped his early years. Grant carved his path through rock and metal, guitar in hand, channelling raw emotion into every chord. 
But the city lights of London whispered something darker, a pulse beneath the surface. It was there he stumbled into the underworld of Dark Disco and Indie Dance, a realm where brooding synths met the grit of his past.
Now, when the world quiets and obligations fade, he retreats into the depths stitching together sonic tapestries that lure the listener into a nocturnal voyage. His mixes aren’t just music they are rituals. A slow descent into rhythm, where every track is a step deeper into the abyss.

Jonna has been playing music with soul for the past 20 years, from the City Fly basement parties @ Sophbeck (RIP) in his hometown of Leicester, to the festival circuit in Croatia to the dark underground clubs of Berlin and as far as Tokyo. He has also supported the likes of Roy Ayres (RIP), Children of Zeus, Benji B, Underground Resistance & MCDE to name a few! 

Jonna has released notable music on Lumberjacks in Hell, BBE, Shadeleaf Music, Flat White Records and his own imprint City Fly Records which has gained support from the likes of BBC 6 Music, Mr Scruff, Jimpster and Derrick Carter. His last release 'Jus Move' featuring Javonntte with Marcellus Pittman & SoulPhiction (RIP) Remixes was featured in Juno Records Top 10 'Best Deep House Records’ of the year and was ‘Release Of The Day’ on Resident Advisor.

Recently, Jonna has been concentrating on his music promo service ‘Unveil PR’ and starting a family but is still an avid record collector and selector spanning many genres of the musical spectrum.
