M.Nomized is a recording artist, mail artist, author, collagist and painter who was born Madrange Michel in Paris in 1956. He started his work in 1975 with contemporary music and sound research. In the subsequent 39 years he has appeared on more than 200 solo, collaboration and compilation CD and tape releases on his own Fraction Studio label, and on numerous European, Japanses, and American labels. M.Nomized has recorded and created music in many different styles, including experimental, electronic, minimalist and repetitive musics, industrial, Indian music, Algerian music, noise, cyclic and loop-based music, children's theater, ambient, piano, and spoken word. He was an important figure in the homemade music scene of the 1980s and 1990s, and was well-known for his recordings as a member of No Unauthorized. M.Nomized has collaborated with De Fabriek, Don Campau, Mr.Moto, Carsten Olbrich, The Legendary Poptones, Daniele Brusaschetto, Kora, Messy, Silentport, William Spivey, Mlehst and many others.

Am spending a lot more time on my music now since retiring from work in July 2020. Always learning new techniques and honing my craft. Am comfortable now with all chord sequences throughout the scales and loving improvising with the help of my mighty KORG still. Am still trying to give my full support and encouragement to all SC users and some latest (you know who you are), are developing nicely. Be good to one another, be gracious to others, leave your ego out of your life and above all else remember there is always someone worse off than yourself. 
Please be kind to each other, to be happy with our lot without jealousy or greed; to give without asking the cost; to love as if there is no tomorrow; to share and inspire others who may be less fortunate than us; most of all to enjoy life for the joy of living, for we know not what the morning brings - stay safe my friends, be strong and always stay positive; remember life changes - DON'T let it change you!!  Music is my life - has helped me through many dark places, is a big part of who I am. I put my heart and soul into every single piece of music I produce. I have found many wonderful friends on SC and many exciting talented people.  Been writing and producing music now for 40 years plus. Specialised in electronic based orchestral compositions. Born in the north of the United Kingdom, I started playing when I was young.
The music I create now is mainly electronic, covering many styles. Ambient, electronic, dance and experimental styles. My influences? There are so many, to be honest. Everything from classical, electronic and dance to more experimental. The more obvious are German experimental electronic artists and a lot of well-known ambient musicians.
My inspirations are taken from the people I love and trust. It’s with their understanding and help that I am able to create music.

I've become addicted to drone. Again. I was the kid with his head on the piano, listening to the overtones die away, or pressing his ear to the steel hull of the ferry, enthralled by the sounds it created. I was the kid who formed wordless songs to accompany the sound of train wheels on a long journey, or hummed along with the fan on a hot day.

In the 60s I used to play my 45s on 16, or backwards, or by hand using razor blades as stylii.

I made cut-up tapes on a cheap cassette recorder in the 70s and experimented with reel-to-reel in the 80s.

I am not a musician. I am a scavenger of sounds. I use the most basic software to process those sounds, stretching and filtering until something emerges that makes a joyful noise. Or not...

Pete Swinton is a half Hungarian, half Polish man born in London, UK in 1961. Between 1988 and 2003 he lived in Portugal. Since 2015 he lives in Jawa, Indonesia. He began playing guitar in the '70s. He started playing keyboards in the 2000s. He makes Ambient and Experimental music. And a cross between the 2 which he calls Insanbient music. He was using the name Srigala but has now stopped. (To hear the music as accurately as it was recorded and mixed the use of headphones is strongly recommended)
