周董今年又出新專輯啦！『十二新作』是他的第12張錄音室專輯。首波宣傳主打歌『紅塵客棧』依然是由方文山填詞，周董稱這首歌是他每張專輯必需有的『周式中國風歌曲』。2007年演唱會時，他給『千里之外』前準備了一段二胡獨奏，而紅塵客棧就是從這段二胡獨奏改編完善而來。

紅塵客棧是一部音樂武俠愛情片，正所謂俠客不愛江山只愛美人，遠離紅塵客棧的武林恩怨，誰領風騷只為伊人折腰。周董以瀟灑而感嘆的唱腔，吟唱著這段故事。讓我們先來欣賞Youtube上的影片：

我的二胡錄音是從周董的『青花瓷』開始的，所以對於『周式中國風』的歌曲一直有著特別情感。兩個禮拜前，偶然間在Youtube上看到這首紅塵客棧，用二胡試拉一下後，便馬上決定要錄這首歌。

紅塵客棧是C調，因為最低音在C，所以必須把二胡的內外弦從DA調降成CG來演奏。因為弦變得較為鬆軟，所以弓子可以稍緊一點，來維持張力。周董唱這首歌的時候，帶了很多戲曲風格的裝飾音、滑音，我覺得非常適合二胡表現，不過要拉出味道還是相當困難的。我平常都拉一些簡單的流行歌，比較少練到戲曲風格的曲子，所以很多味道不對的地方，還請各位朋友多多包涵指點囉～相信你們可以自己發揮得更好的！
