HK-based Kizen Records founder Romi exposes imagination and thought by experimenting with sound to create his very own music vision. His sets reflect his wide musical background, yet carry a very specific sound, generating an atmospheric abyss within the techno field. His sets are deep, yet pure - even filled with a certain degree of emptiness. It is this emptiness which invites the listener to get lost on an individual journey of possibilities.

With Contemplations, Steve and Jesse examine the interplay and contrast between two disparate themes. Both a solo and group project, Contemplations allows the duo to explore these themes individually before coming together to merge their interpretations into one body of work.

His progressive sessions, profound and with long mixes, are real voyages that sail through experimental music, ambient and horizontal and dubby techno.
His productions are 4x4 experiments of low tempo with field recordings and marked spaces, where he explores timbres, textures and cinematographic
structures. He is resident at the Alpenglühen and Taiga sessions and owner of the label Antimatter together with Bule.
He is also the owner of Alpenglühen (the label) focused in deep and ambient techno which explores the thin line between light and darkness.

심오하고 긴 믹싱을 가진 그의 진보적인 세션은 실험음악, 앰비언트 그리고 수평적이고 Dub 한 테크노 사이를 항해한다.
그의 작품은 4x4 의 낮은 템포를 가지는 실험으로, 현장 녹음과 그가 음색과 질감 그리고 시네마토그래픽을 탐구하는 공간들에서 이루어진다. 
그는 Taiga 세션의 레지던트이며, Bule 와 함께 Antimatter 레이블의 소유자이며, 또한 빛과 어둠의 얇은 경계를 탐험하는, 딥 테크노와 앰비언트 테크노를 추구하는 Alpenglühen 레이블의 오너이기도 하다.

It’s been an extraordinary first year of Bright Patterns, and what better way to celebrate an anniversary than with a special guest whose music is often featured on the show. Vicki kicks things off in the first hour, followed by an hour of original, unreleased music by Joshua Davison. He’s released on Skam, Digitalis, and several other labels over the last two decades, and also appears on the latest Mysteries of the Deep compilation. It would have been a pleasure to have him compile a DJ set for the show with his incredible taste in music, but an hour of his own productions marks this as a special event. For the last mix of the year, we are hosting one of our favorites: Polygonia! The Munich-based musician has been one the busiest in 2020 with releases on our beloved On Board Music label but also on her very own IO, she runs with Dycide and MTRL. An excellent EP on French imprint Lowless, we particularly dig, has recently seen the light too. Her deep and atmospheric productions are always full of emotions, intense and are a perfect interpretation of modern Deep Techno. When Polygonia is not producing or behind the decks, you can also find her making V/J for bands or doing new instrumental & experimental collaborations. Conceptualized in 2011, Mysteries began as a podcast series that, now in its eleventh year, has hosted an array of mixes and original works. The project has since evolved, expanding into a curated global event series and record label.
