Experimental often microtonal interpretations of idm, post-jazz,  funk, techno, trip hop, folk hop, ambient and other genres. Its different from Xylen Roberts because the latter is predominantly experimental singer-songwriter based with vocals. Mythshifter is not. Some of the older Mythshifter tracks from 2011/2012 have vocals but they are done in a freeform non-lyrical incantaction way (see 'woven in the tapestry'). Released several long form layered improvisation albums under this moniker back in 2012 before mostly working with the XR project over the last couple of years. Now I have amassed an album of new, more beat-oriented instrumental material and have released it as Fast Times At Centaur Vortex (2016).

+++Addendum: A LOT has happened since I last updated this Mythshifter. I haven't released new Mythshifter material since 2016's Fast Times etc. I have been busy with my main singer-songwriter project Xylen Roberts, making comedy and discussion videos, podcasts, getting my YouTube account shadowbanned and some videos deleted, various health issues (including frequent bouts with severe GERD and Fibromyalgia), and so on and so forth.
