Based in Valencia, Loudeast Records has been putting out quality house business to serious dancefloors since 2006. Founded by seasoned DJ and producer Nacho Marco, the label has played host to KiNK, C-Rock, Duckbeats, Terry Lee Brown Jnr, The Timewriter, Mateo & Matos, Midi Drop Music, Fred Everything and Kiko Navarro himself.  For their next release, Loudeast proudly presents Meloglen, the Mallorcan/ LA duo which is comprised of producer Melchor Rossell who has released on 20:20 Vision, Robsoul, Suara, Liebe & Detail and of vocalist Aqeel, who has worked with the mighty Dr Dre, Mala Rodriguez and Chacho Brodas. Their sound draws heavily on the influences of the legendary Detroit Grand Pubahs, the sultry touch of Moodymann, and the funked-up-ness of Parliaments’ George Clinton.
 
‘Elegant Art’ kicks off in minimal fashion with brooding bassline, and vibey as fuck vocal from Aqeel that dances around with the sparsely placed horns and intermittent effects. On ‘For Hire (Nacho Marco Remix)’, the vocal flow and moody swagger of Aqeel is dialled up to the maximum alongside emotion filled piano house keys. The floor focused ‘Attitude’ picks up the pace and is all about the spoken word (Is Prince in the house?). The original version of ‘For Hire’ is a bumpin’ house beauty that also gets a dubbed out instrumental from label head Nacho Marco who adds elements of crunch to funk up the proceedings.

PIEK is one of the most restless and prolific artists to have emerged in Spain in recent times. Nacho has turned his hometown of Elizondo into the headquarters of his own kingdom, built on good vibes and expertise. His passion for dance music is varied and eclectic, with a precise and selective mastery of a multitude of styles.
You’ve been listening to PIEK for longer than you think. A record collector since childhood, a DJ with over 1,000 gigs in his 20 year career, and a producer with releases on prestigious labels like Fabric, Balance, Defected, OM Records and, more recently, Toy Tonics or Ubiquity.

Named “artist to watch” by the SoundCloud team in 2013 and awarded “Album of the Year” by DJMag Spain in 2017 for Despertar—an album also recognized as one of the most important Spanish records of the decade by the influential YouTube channel Music Radar Clan. He’s also a seasoned music producer for advertising agencies in cities like New York and Hamburg, with music featured on TV, radio stations, clubs, festivals, and events like the Latin Grammy Awards.

Since 2023, he’s been running his own label alongside Rapha Mundi: Buenobueno Discos. Through this imprint, he unveiled “Celebrate”—his highly anticipated second studio album, showcasing a bold evolution of his sound.
