I can never get enough of Nunu, not in song, not in person.

≠Nu /Uas (listen to the poem to get the correct pronunciation) was written over a year ago for the 2012 Spoken Word 'Namlish' show. I wanted to incorporate my mother tongue into my poetry and it seemed like a good idea to do it musically. It is always a pleasure performing this piece and so, by popular demand, here it is.

It's changed a number of times so ask me again tomorrow.

A child of ochre soils, a remnant of the suns rays. Ques is born of a thirst to navigate through stories and sonic gestures. From the spoken word to using language as percussion, she merges only that which was already together.
