Keep coming back. One of my favourite openings

As previous years we're celebrating the Winter Solstice with a mix. And this time it's personal. 

We travel back in time to the year of 2017 and in the aftermath of making a festival in the forests of Sweden. A friend in the crew played these incredibly well-crafted mixtapes on Soundcloud which ended up on ones hard drive to be played over and over in the years to come. Some time later this dj showed up on the Campfire Stories by Silent Season and once again we were in awe of the mood and setting created. When we finally set up our own podcast of Navigare Audio in 2020 and scouted for artists willing to contribute it was inevitable to contact the author of all these amazing musical stories played and little did we know what this would bring. 

So what could be more proper to have Vincent Campfens aka Vinsen to be the first of to re-appear with a chapter on our podcast 28 episodes later. We're grateful for the music and the friendship, connection and love that has come with it.

Adhémar (@adhemarmusic) is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works. Constantly in search of the luminous quality of sounds, in a world made of shadows and light, his music is closely linked to his plastic work. This obsession with shadows leads him to think and create spaces, atmospheres that focus on the lightness and poetry of light. The idea of "narrative potential of music", allows us to confront the psychological and philosophical journey with a particular relationship on what is alive and what surrounds us (whether it is the material, immaterial world, the fact that everything is constantly becoming). With a particular rigour for transitions, whether in his own production or in his DJset, his universe is built little by little, with the passing of sound transformations and the light and poetic transportation of it all.

Boni G introduces Vinna Våldyr (@vinnavaldyr), a new alias that explores a more introspective and deep side of his sound. This project reflects his current creative moment, bringing together the richness of his experience with fresh perspectives, all while staying true to his roots and musical vision. Over the course of his 30-year career, Boni G has left a mark on the electronic music scene. In 2000, he co-founded Low Records Store, dedicating a decade to its growth and development. He was the driving force behind projects like Huna and Bisau, hosted the Indigo show on Lie Radio, and spent nearly 10 years teaching at Proaudio Escuela until 2020. With Vinna Valdyr, Boni G connects the dots between his extensive career and the new horizons he’s charting, offering a sound that’s both reflective and forward-thinking - a perfect blend of his journey and where he’s headed next.

Kameu is one of the most active and hard-working technoheads in Lithuania. Having started his DJ career more than a decade ago he is constantly honing his mixing and selection skills within diverse venues and line-up contexts. This is clearly manifested in his affiliations with atmospheric and darker techno enthusiasts Black Wave. Thus, his sets could be heard in the wilderness of Lithuanian woods, among the concrete walls of underground nightclubs or even Boiler Room broadcast. Kameu’s own sets are as diverse as his activities ranging from functional techno madness to immersive deeper sounds or even ambientish pulsations, from old-school to cutting-edge tracks. He carefully merges the sensibilities required for both listening and dancefloor experiences.
