Some of our art is made on computers, some of it is made by hand. We are particularly interested in that gray area in between where you cant really tell. All of what we create here is one work laid out in segments, all connected. The Mystic Tape Deck universe is vast and explores all manner of adding meaning to our lives, while pondering meaninglessness.

In 1936 a small town suffered plague and pestilence. 11 women gave birth to what the town described as feral, clawed, masked and lethargic￼￼ creatures. The citizens dispatched all but 3 of the mothers but strangely enough let the creatures live. The remaining mothers fostered all of the “children” and were quarantined to an abandoned and barren farm. The farm and its inhabitants became known as Sloth Camp. They were left to fend for themselves, surviving on what little they could grow and animals ( mainly rats) they could catch. An outhouse painted with images of lions and baboons and other creatures from distant lands started being worshipped by the “ children “. This is Sloth Camp...

But sometimes SC will show me all the listeners , but other times they only show me the last 2 hours and I have no idea of who listened to what , it is so annoying , and I apologise if I miss anyone out , it's not deliberate , I value every single one of my listeners ! Self confessed Music Addict ! I write and play/vocalise everything myself whether it be real or synthetic . Recently teamed up with Charlotte Thornton , and together we are Charlie and the Fox , it's the best thing I have ever done musically . Char has an outstanding voice , writes amazing lyrics and comes up with melodies I would never have dreamed of , it's a partnership that works so well , and long may it continue !
