Before NDYD I used to be part of a DJ coalition in LA called the West Coast Collective (WCC). We were House DJs that mainly played Soulful and Jackin' but from time to time we would deviate to other styles that we loved. In my college days I was really into industrial and New Wave when I was a radio DJ in the college radio station but I was also a big fan of Hip Hop and especially G-Funk (imagine that).

Quite a few years ago, while I was still part of the WCC,  I made this mix where I went back to those days. A listener reached out and reminded me of it cause it was on other platforms online but no more. After much digging I found the original MP3 of the set I had done and here it is back again. Enjoy!

His swing rhythm and flow in his songs are incredible good, and the passion he delivers in his music is very inspiring. Their collaboration birthed the NDYD Radio Show, which Ricardo hosts weekly, showcasing top global talent and steadily growing a loyal listener base.
