As you might guess from the name, the Bellini is an Italian classic. The original recipe came from Venice and was simply Prosecco mixed with white peach puree and a touch of raspberry juice. Today w're enlighted to present a Russian twist on this Italian classic made by Marymoon.

Delicious, sophisticated, driving and soulful dance-floor ready melodic, deep, and tech house is how to describe Marymoon's music. She has had appearances at renowned venues or parties such as Space Ibiza, Elrow, Secret Garden Party in the UK, Womoon or Burning Man. 

The St. Petersburg based DJ and Producer released on labels such as Culprit LA, Selador or Submarine Vibes. Most recently, her EP "Nalu" was released on Anathema Records. The 4 tracker takes you on a journey through funky, organic, dreamy and progressive vibes

FIrst thing first. A huge thank you to brother @cloakdaggernyc for taking over the show last week. As always he didn't disappoint with his beautiful Nu Disco set in which he played some of his own tracks. This def ain't last time you hear from him as he is part of the NDYD fam. 

Cloak sets the bar high when he is a guest so i'm gonna try to keep up with him and get your ears attention by taking you to the deep end of the NDYD pool. The show starts strong with one of pour favorite artist that we haven't heard from in a while. The amazing Lovebirds, on Glitterbox Recordings no less, with their new release 'Shut The Lights Out'. From there we raise the tempo a little bit more with artists like Scott Diaz, Turbojazz, Kevin Yost, Soledrifter, and many more.

Welcome to EP-145 of the NDYD Radio Show. This week we have a special guest mix from NDYD's friend Jørn Sørheim (@jornsorheim).

Jørn started djing in -97 and got his fist residency as a 19 year old in -99 in central Stockholm, Sweden. His main venues included places like Soap Bar, Calle P and No.18. Since then Jørn has been djing at all the major venues in Stockholm.

He is mainly influenced by legendary artists like Depeche Mode, U2, Stevie Wonder and Prince as well as a variety of modern indie artists.
Through a balanced technique where consideration for both environment and artistry and modern creativity is accounted for – Sørheim joins the old and the new in a modern cocktail of styles – handmade for the venue. In the bar – this is often represented by modern r’n’b, indie/nu-disco and deep house classics. On the dancefloor – by a more electronic clubsound.

As a DJ Jørn represents creativity through classic sounds. A creativeness primarily made through a pair of classic vinyl turntables rather than the latest in dj tech.

During the lockdown some of the residents / friends who live in our building in DTLA would get together at our loft from time to time where I would play music while we just hang . Of course it was a very limited number of people (only the ones that lived in the building) and even if most of us never left the building we all whore masks and kept our social distancing. It was fun to play for a small 'crowd' in the middle of the pandemic and I got to record some of those sessions that we had about every other weekend. Here is one of them where I went back to play down to mid-tempo edits like back in the days. The other sessions I recorded are all different, deep house, tech-house, etc. I will be posting those in the upcoming radio shows. So here is the first one and I hope you will dig it like our neighbors did. They are actually the ones that asked me to post them so they can have a copy of it. I'm glad to do it cause it looks like I might have turned some of them to this style of music. I'm like a drug dealer lol

Ricardo Torres, a West Coast DJ, is known for blending deep, soulful house and disco with a smooth, sultry West Coast vibe. His music is crafted for true dance music enthusiasts, delivering uplifting, groovy, and sexy experiences rooted in the underground scene.

Ricardo’s DJ journey began in 1987 at a college radio station in Montreal, Canada, where he initially spun industrial electronic music. By 1988, he was introduced to Chicago House and was captivated by its fresh energy, changing his musical direction. In 1995, he moved to Los Angeles, where the city’s sun-drenched, soulful vibe and influences from DJs like Jay-J, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Mark Farina, and Miguel Migs drew him toward the deeper West Coast sound.

Their collaboration birthed the NDYD Radio Show, which Ricardo hosts weekly, showcasing top global talent and steadily growing a loyal listener base. For Ricardo, Nu Disco offers a modern bridge for the soulful West Coast vibe to resonate with newer generations.
