This episode was suppose to be up last week but because of schedule conflicts (from my end) I had to push it to this week. I'm actually glad I did because Martin took it up a notch on the 'ready to dance' set as I did last week. So in reality I kind of open up for him and warmed you guys up to his amazing selections. Her eclectic taste in music evolved through Sunday sessions at her favourite stomping ground Revolver Upstairs in Melbourne and dusty dancefloors in the
bush. In early 2017, she first laid her hands on some decks and has been showcasing her progressive, melodic sound all over town ever since.

She has entranced crowds of all sizes, her highlights having included a set at Piknic Electronik Melbourne, playing at LUFT, supporting Township Rebellion at Revolver, many gigs for Thick As Thieves and gracing the decks at a futuristic Techno performance at Pitch
Music & Arts, as well as shows in her home country Austria.

She is also one of the masterminds behind the girl power event SASS.

This Dan's third appearance on the show. He also did for us EP-10, EP-57 and just like those sets this one does not disappoint. Besides being a very talented DJ and producer, Dan wears other creative hats such as music curator for Traxsource and he is founding member of the band Dsided (see links below).

Ricardo Torres, a West Coast DJ, is known for blending deep, soulful house and disco with a smooth, sultry West Coast vibe. His music is crafted for true dance music enthusiasts, delivering uplifting, groovy, and sexy experiences rooted in the underground scene.

Ricardo’s DJ journey began in 1987 at a college radio station in Montreal, Canada, where he initially spun industrial electronic music. By 1988, he was introduced to Chicago House and was captivated by its fresh energy, changing his musical direction. In 1995, he moved to Los Angeles, where the city’s sun-drenched, soulful vibe and influences from DJs like Jay-J, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Mark Farina, and Miguel Migs drew him toward the deeper West Coast sound.

In 2000, Ricardo pioneered sharing his mixes online, a bold and innovative step that garnered him international recognition. This exposure led to global performances and opportunities, while he also became a syndicated radio host on satellite and online platforms.

Around 2016 Ricardo partnered with Germany’s Nu Disco Your Disco (NDYD), a leading advocate for the Nu Disco genre. Their collaboration birthed the NDYD Radio Show, which Ricardo hosts weekly, showcasing top global talent and steadily growing a loyal listener base. For Ricardo, Nu Disco offers a modern bridge for the soulful West Coast vibe to resonate with newer generations.

While underground music trends have evolved over the decades, Ricardo’s passion remains unwavering: playing music that inspires people to get up, dance, and celebrate the timeless groove of house music.
