This summer, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
Driven by the belief that music can be a source of healing, Jacky Jeane is working to create an inclusive, caring party, with an aquatic, enveloping soundtrack. Introduced to mixing by the feminist collective MAL.E.S (Strasbourg), she draws on ambient, downtempo, UK, tribal, bass music and techno sounds, with particular attention paid to rhythms and textures. Jacky Jeane represents a modern emerging scene, happily multiplying areas of exploration, both musical and living.

Programmer of the Macadam club in Nantes (FR), co-founder and resident DJ of the intersectional collective Zone Rouge and co-founder and producer for the No-Scrubs label, the Amazon of nocturnal asphalt, @aasana comes out when the night burns.
The tips of her fingers on the indicator lights, the crowd in excitement and the radiant smiles, the atoms rubbing and the aromas mixing. You can hear the sounds of the city, the sounds of factories and partitioned basements. The poetry of the machine in selection, Asaana plays the sound of abandonment, the one where Bass calls the organism to order. It’s in the chaos that the balance of her sets between Bass Music, Breaks, Hardrum and Techno is drawn.

With such a wide range of activities, he has been active in the electronic music scene since the late 90s (as Stigr). He has lived in many cities, from Paris to Amsterdam, through Berlin and Casablanca, as well as London. Drawing from his experiences, he transmits positive energy through his music, infusing it with his special touch. For this occasion, he has prepared a progressive mix, creating a connection between field recording and fast and deep techno, all filled with the kind of psychedelia we love.
