Eyal Talmor is an experimental musician dealing with unusual behaviors of electronics and sound. His improvisational performances centre around a synthesizer that, when connected to a normal functioning machine, becomes unintentionally influenced by corrupted MIDI data sent back and forth, causing it to operate beyond its planned capabilities.
While dealing with the chaotic nature of the involved machines and the live setting in real-time, Talmor's setup allows him to reach sounds that would be otherwise impossible. The described method makes every performance unique and unrepeatable, allowing the musician to research stress conditions, chaos, the physicality and behaviors of new sounds and their influence on the listener.

Laenz joins EMA’s beloved Woozy family with After Sunset; an extended player of haunted dub architecture, set out within a found-sound planetarium of deconstructed rhythms and textural deviancy. Seminal UK producer and Hemlock Recordings’ founder Untold also features with his first remix in 9 years.

Brooklyn-based Laenz reimagines the expansive structures of her native city as aural scaffolding, reconstructing indeterminate spaces via an emotional rendering process of world building. It’s music that explores the duality of shape and unform, immersed in traditions of sound design and latter-day UK broken beat techno binded by a tender hauntology that’s sublimely immersive as it is intimately personal. After Sunset is her debut for EMA’s boundary-pushing Woozy imprint, following releases for Early Reflex, Rhizome and Eastern Margins, a project detailing elongated processes of varying intensities evoking a rawness which she described as a “war on the heart”. It’s a body of music that’s a direct portal into Laenz’ singular vision, and highlights her inimitable talent amongst the milieu of bass-leaning producers of New York and beyond.

Ballad Before The Break intros us with a garbled chug of out-of-body proportions, before Choices marches in with an uncanny half time of tense textures and After Sunset follows with trip-hop adjacent psychedelia gorged in subs. B-side opens with Echoes Until, a lurching wormhole of disorientating skank while wiL offers a gorgeous ambient epic circled by a percussion-heavy concrète of breakcore abstraction. Untold sees us out with a remix of Choices, a trip into his unrivalled sound world, buoyant by throbbing modulation and rolling kicks of pure surreality.

Pink fog rises amidst the hills; dew covers all in silver paint glittering in the background. layers covering layers of low clouds, fog and haze.
Shimmering city lights. Silhouettes of figures sitting in the hills, hanging in bridges, on top of houses, looking upon, observing city drive from up high as if it was a meditating bonfire. A notion of something going to happen. But all that remains is a glimpse of pink fog hanging static in the air.

Risks Issues Opportunities, the third release from berlin based R.I.O. Label brings together a collection of electronic wave music from six different performers with one common ground: their mysterious & slightly melancholic aesthetics.
