Welcome to the world of Drone, a London-based label founded by producer, artist and Death In Vegas guiding light Richard Fearless. An outlet for dancefloor distortion and other musical explorations. Created in the Metal Box, Drone will release oscillations in many forms.

For this, the debut outing Richard Fearless lays the mandate in the form of Higher Electronic States - proto-techno, peaktime acid. Analogue electronics, hammer-horror strings underpinned with drums to blow apart any floor. This is music made for very dark, smoke filled rooms with absurd lazers.

Crème Organization & M>O>S Recordings mainstay D’Marc Cantu picks up remixes duties on the flip toning things down in tempo but certainly not tension.  Full stream of this coming soon.

This study of human tendency to create illusory systems of faith and rituals in pursuit of unattainable or false ideals, criticism of the consumer society and blind, as well as deep immersion in personal existential dead ends and disappointments. This is a powerful conceptual frame for creating a memorable, thinking and emotionally charged musical work; created, produced and mixed by mandruvá & Ruksby.

External imitation without understanding the essence, blind faith in the ritual as a means of achieving the desired, the gap between action and the real result, the creation of illusory systems to obtain an unattainable good. The combination of "primitive", acoustic, ethnic sounds (drums, percussion, folklore motifs) with cold, mechanistic electronics, industrial, noise. 

This reflects a mixture of traditional and modern, ritual and technology. Repeating rhythms, mantras, looped samples, increasing tension - creating a sensation of the transient state of the participants in the cult.

After a strong run of releases on Secret Fusion, Nothing Is Real, and Sprechen earlier this year, NYC-based producer Evan Michael now lands on HIFI/LOFI Records with his Modern Life EP — a forward-thinking five-track journey that drifts from dreamy house to cosmic indie dance, with subtle shades of melancholy woven throughout.

Having spent the past decade deeply immersed in New York’s nightlife, Evan has supported many of the city’s most vital independent clubs while absorbing their eclectic soundscapes. That experience has sharpened his ear for house and techno — a sensibility he now channels into productions that move seamlessly between retroism and futurism, all in his uniquely personal way. 

The release is elevated by standout remixes from trailblazer Maruwa, a Robert Johnson club resident whose rising profile spans releases on Steel City Dance Discs and X‑Kalay, delivering a deeper, more minimalistic, and irresistibly groovy reinterpretation of the original. Meanwhile, acclaimed producer Le Chev — trusted studio collaborator of LP Giobbi and co‑writer/producer for artists like Fischerspooner, SOFI TUKKER, Jake Shears, and more — brings a bold injection of deep house and melodic progressive grandeur, flirting with Organic House undertones to expand Evan’s vision.

With Call The Ball, Feinstoff marks its eighteenth release, handing the reins to Cologne’s ETANE for a four-track trip moving with the tension of indie dance, the grit of EBM and a post-punk undercurrent. On the flip, the title track is reimagined by French artist MMYYLO, known for his slow-burning, analogue-driven darkness.

Johns Empire locks into a stripped-back drive, its mechanic bassline grinding forward with precision. The floor is clearly its destination, but the track keeps a post-punk shadow hanging over every bar. An eerie lead cuts through the mix with goosebump intensity, all wrapped in pristine production that shows ETANE at his sharpest. A cut that speaks the Feinstoff language in its purest form.
