multidisciplinary self-taught artist, in deep connection with nature, the mystique of life and an insatiable curiosity to integrate new concepts and techniques to express his creative universe.

The new technologies applied to music and sound design have led him to experiment with greater freedom in the immense sound world, exploring the field of Biodata (biosonification), generative music and texture design, and electro-conductivity like this, the composition of songs where the fusion of styles is the primary premise that inspires him. Moving between the genres ambient, world, dowtempo, techno, soundscape and the experimental has found ways where to stay anchored in them, is not an option. Enjoy outdoor recording, and the creation of his own sound tools (noisebox) in his Lab-studio located in a mountain house in a small town in the Basque Country, in northern Spain. He has been part of artistic projects, performances, live music and has participated in educational events where the cimatica (form of sound), the frequencies and the relationship between life and them, have been the fundamental pillar.

Disfruta de la grabación en exteriores, y de la creación de sus propias herramientas sonoras ( noisebox ) en su Lab-studio ubicado en una casa de montaña en un pequeño pueblo de país vasco , al norte de España. Ha formado parte de proyectos artísticos, performances, música en directo y ha participado en eventos de carácter educacional donde la cimatica ( forma del sonido ) , las frecuencias  y la relación entre la vida y ellas, han sido el pilar fundamental.

a few words about it

Ricky Ricardo grew up in Almelo, where as a teenager he first came into contact with what would later turn out to be his passion. As an MC at house parties in the 90s, young Ricky not only developed his sense of rhythm, it was the experience of a house party that had the most influence.

Ricky Ricardo groeide op in Almelo, waar hij als tiener voor het eerst in aanraking kwam met wat later zijn passie zou blijken te zijn. Als MC op houseparty's in de jaren 90 ontwikkelde de jonge Ricky niet alleen zijn gevoel voor ritme, het was de ervaring van een houseparty die de meeste invloed had.

ZARINE (Dj Zarine) is one of the drum & bass DJs and producers whose work has brought considerable popularity to this style.
Starting his career in 97, he started promoting the Jump Up style in Russia. This always positive and open person still carries the culture of broken rhythms to the masses.

He received a classical music education. He studied conducting. He also plays guitar (played death metal, hardcore, techno death, was a session guitarist.) Sound engineer, worked with many well-known musicians, both foreign (Henry Rollins Band, Young Gods, Braut schlägt im Auge), and Russian, such as: the King and the Jester, Bricks, Torba-na-Kruche, Nom, TV, Calibri, Two Planes, Brigade row, Spitfire, and others.

His creative pseudonym, the female name ZARINE, owes his love for decadence, and the eponymous name of one of his projects-ZARINE (sarin) with the crossed-out letter " E " at the end. In 1996, after playing his first ever set at the CLEO club, he decided to keep the name.

The first single, "Drunk'n'Bazz Wize", was recorded in 1999 and released as a compilation album on a no-longer-existing foreign label. This was followed by releases - "Drunk n Bass" and "Art Core", "Eazy Drums" - released on the now-defunct KDK records

Later there were releases on "Dj Parade", "World of the Drum n bass" - Dj SS took the single "GO ON" recorded together with Liza K. Audio design of the magazine "SPB. RU". Release of the album "Leading the rats". Working with Goldie, Aphrodite.

To date, singles have been released on Italian, French, German, and English labels.

I’m more of a DJ who loves to be creative with music and loves to perform, and wants to share this creativity with others.  Lately, I’ve been experimenting with Groovepad. It’s an app that I use on my iPhone and the loops are made by other amazing artists and producers. All I’m doing is having a blast arranging and rearranging these amazing loops during a live recording and sharing these experiences with everyone. Good or bad, it’s a great time to celebrate life! 😁 I have an understanding of music fundamentals from being in band, jazz band, etc. and I have a real passion for the universal language of music.  It’s been a great app to use, I highly recommend.  I hope what I share, people will enjoy. One Love 😎

Close to my heart is raising awareness of the chronically painful genetic connective tissue disorder HEDS (Hyper-Mobility Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) to encourage recognition and a deeper understanding of the condition; that no 2 people with HEDS are identical and live with different symptoms, types and experiences.
