Over a decade since its formation, mau5trap -- the independent record label founded by groundbreaking electronic music producer deadmau5 -- has become a bastion for trailblazing and genre-defying artists. Casting a palpable influence over the genre, Mixmag readers voted mau5trap among the “Top 50 Labels of the Decade”, placing it in the Top 10; since then, the imprint has been supported by dance music magnates Billboard, DJ Mag, Forbes, Insomniac, and The EDM Network. More recently, mau5trap has maneuvered toward live events boasting curated stage takeovers at the world’s biggest electronic dance music events like Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, EDC, and beyond.

Be Yourself Music is a Dutch music label founded in 2005. The label has made a significant impact in the electronic dance music industry, working with some of the biggest names in the scene.

Over the years, Be Yourself Music has become known for its ability to spot and develop new talent. Working and having worked with successful artists, like: Bakermat, Brennan Heart, Rank 1, Sefa, Lulleaux, Headhunterz, Melsen, Marco V, Wildstylez, Tinlicker, R3hab, Fedde le Grand, Nicky Romero, Dada Life, and many others.

In 2023, the label has seen several recent successes. One of the biggest achievements is reaching the iconic milestone of 1.5 BILLION streams globally with the single “Empty Love” by Lulleaux. The single “Baiana” by Bakermat also saw massive success, with 350 million streams globally and a platinum record in the Netherlands. Another platinum record in the Netherlands was awarded for Brennan Heart’s single “Imaginary” (with over 80 million streams globally).

Lulleaux also saw success with “Contact,” which earned the artist 500 million streams globally. Additionally, Sefa, another artist on the Be Yourself Music roster, was nominated for an Edison Award for Best Dance in the Netherlands.

Amelie Lens has taken the techno scene to another level, with her unrelenting passion for the genre, with a strong message that she always was, and always will be a raver at heart.

Amelie‘s debut release in 2016 marked the beginning of her distinguished career. Since then, she has released music on many of the industry‘s leading labels and contributed to the prestigious Global Underground City mix series. Amelie is a regular headliner at major festivals such as Awakenings, Sonar, Timewarp, and Tomorrowland’s mainstage. Additionally, she performs at renowned club venues across the globe.

Fast forward to 2024 and Amelie is heading her labels Lenske and EXHALE Records, running her party series EXHALE, holds down an extensive touring schedule and hosts her own radio show. The show now streams online and broadcasts on 34 radio stations across the globe, reaching nearly 5 million listeners with every episode.

Amelie has been focused on her signature sound, emphasised by the use of her own vocals. She wants to capture audiences that may not always be there for techno but feel connected after discovering something new.
