Kalsa, born Paolo Trombetta, is an Italian DJ hailing from Genoa. With an innate passion for a wide range of electronic sounds, Kalsa’s journey began with a deep love for house music. This initial passion laid the foundation for his skills, but it was his evolution toward unique rhythms, organic textures, and sophisticated electronic nuances that marked his rise in the scene.

Kalsa’s DJ sets are a testament to his broad musical vision, defined by a constant exploration of sound. His performances are deeply influenced by his love for the full spectrum of electronic music, inspired by his travels around the world, and reflect his approach to life: passionate and unrestrained.

Since 2018, Kalsa has been an integral part of the Free Soul project, where for seven years he contributed to the collective’s growth. This experience led him, in 2025, to found OFF, a new project through which he continues to explore and share his musical vision.

Con una passione innata per una vasta gamma di sonorità elettroniche, il percorso di Kalsa è iniziato con un profondo amore per la house music. Questo amore iniziale ha posto le basi per le sue abilità, ma è stata la sua evoluzione verso ritmi unici, trame organiche e sofisticate sfumature elettroniche a segnare la sua ascesa nella scena.

I DJ set di Kalsa sono una testimonianza della sua ampia visione musicale, caratterizzata da una costante esplorazione sonora. Zillas on Acid is Thomas Roland and James Weissinger, resident DJs for eighteen years and counting at MAKING TIME, Philadelphia's never-ending nightlife institution. Since the release of their EPs Black Cat (Optimo Music) and She Takes NRG (Ivan Smagghe’s Les Disques de la Mort), the Zillas have been busy building a steady catalog of music for labels like Live at Robert Johnson, Dischi Autunno, Running Back, Inside Out, Multi-Culti, Permanent Vacation, Polari, NEUBAU, and more. Along the way, they’ve garnered support from futuristic fellow travelers like Roman Flügel, Dixon, Jennifer Cardini, Justin Strauss, Bradley Zero, Sean Johnston, and many others. 2025 sees the debut of Zillas on Acid LIVE–a new band incarnation featuring additional musicians in the mix–to create slow-motion death disco, dubbed-out drum machine music, and of course ACID to excite party people from all planets.

Zebra Muscles is just an average mortal DJ, shit scared and driven by pain who gets a strange satisfaction from digging for music. He does have a knack for stumbling upon tunes that might have been better off lost forever. More at home with his giant black dog, and an apple fritter, looking for eclectic music and running his record label Psychic Zebra into the ground. He’s not here for money or glory but does get enjoyment from being a friend who insists you listen to a song you never heard of, even if you don’t really want to.
