Formed in 2008 as a songwriting and recording project, British rock band New Earthlings release a self-produced album of catchy, hooky rock songs in 2017, featuring all original material.

Personnel:
Swain - vox, guitar, bass, BV
Swain has had varied musical tastes ranging from classic rock, through to drum & bass and hip hop. Whilst at university, Swain gained a taste for heavier bands such as Metallica, Killswitch Engage and System of a Down to name but a few.

Geoff - guitar, BV
Geoff has been coming up with tunes since the age of nine. Self taught, first on classical guitar and then electric, Geoff has sought to combine the two and create a style all his own: the nylon-strung electric guitar.

Tony - keyboards, grand piano
Tony began playing keyboards whilst in primary school and by university had completed the ABRSM piano grades. Tony plays (amongst others) a Yamaha Motif XF8 Synth, Yamaha MOX8 Synth, and had use of the fabulous Yamaha CFX Concert Grand for the album.

Chris - drums
Christopher has played with a whole host of bands throughout Milton Keynes, Banbury, Birmingham and London. The sessions with New Earthlings were very exciting, and each track was learned on the day, with only two or three takes per song – allowing for a very natural feel to each track, and no time to overthink the parts!

Velvet Fall is a Russian Dark Folk band. Formed in Samara in 2008.
Initially, as Velvets Fall played their songs in styles Darkwave, Synthpop, EBM.
In 2014 the project was suspended due to the fact that Alex Velvet was promoting another group - Barkhatnaja Osen. After the collapse of BO in summer 2016, VF project was resumed as a folk band.

I'd love to work with you on collaborations, I can offer vocals and keyboards. 

I started to compose my music in the eighties, first on my electric organ, then on 8 bit computers like the famous C64. Later my 8 track tape machine allowed more complex arrangements and finally I got used to hearing my own voice ;-) The songs in the storyteller set originate in that time. Nowadays I have better tools, but unfortunately less time.

I'd love to work with you on collaborations, I can offer vocals and keyboards. 

One of the most rewarding experiences for me is to get (honest) feedback from you: I'd love to see your comments, messages, or even getting favourites!

Commencing his music career at the spritely age of 19 with April & I, a self-produced concept album about a young boy inventing an imaginary friend to get through tough times, and devoting himself to the creation of songs which are both unique and stylistically referential to pop legends such as The Beach Boys and Super Furry Animals, it is no wonder Paul Steel was initially welcomed by music critics as a wunderkind.

After releasing the well-received Moon Rock, his second record as a young solo musician, Paul began to focus his considerable talents on songwriting and production, and has been rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the UK's most promising up-and-coming writers. His writing credits already include Nick Littlemore (Empire of the Sun), Mika, Nicola Roberts, Saint Raymond, and PNAU to name but a few.

2013 was an important year for Paul, who's music gained international exposure when Mika's track 'Underwater' from his 2013 album The Origin of Love was featured on an high-profile Swatch advert. In addition, 2013 was marked by a special return to live performance in the form of Cold Crows Dead, a collaborative musical side-project between Paul and close friend and The Xcerts frontman Murray Macleod. Cold Crows Dead's debut record 'I Fear A New World' was released in December 2013 and gained positive reviews for it's experimental, ambitious and intelligent combination of pop, rock, and alternative elements.

I grew up in Newport, South Wales. I now live in Eastbourne on the South coast of England. Love playing guitar and flute and experimenting with composing songs using both instruments.
