With events now in full swing again, gigs in North and South America prove he's lost none of his creativity and showmanship behind the decks. We look forward to what he'll do next with baited breath. 

Opening with 'Magic Fields' a tough rubbery groove gathers pace with claps, percussion and melodic layers organically flowing into the mix. Shimmering FX and grubby bass notes add style and grit in equal measures. Airy pads around the midpoint give a cinematic feel alongside the keys and off-kilter sonics that sound like bouncing balls before the beat hits and were back on solid ground. 'Far Above The World' continues apace with a tribal groove that quickly mutates with off-beat bass into a driving gem of epic proportions. Finally, 'Arcadia' completes the triptych with another melodic masterclass. Growing slowly over the opening section, icy keys and powerful low end grunt combine for a growling, musically diverse mindset stomper.

With 'Gaia' we welcome Ätherisch for his long-awaited debut on ICONYC Noir. Aätherisch delivers a slice of warm, pulsating club vibes. The track kicks things off nicely with its melancholic moodiness shining through as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry bassline sits wonderfully on top, adding an extra layer of depth and class. On remix duty we are very excited to welcome Astral Base who also marks his debut on the label with a classy remix for the ages. The Russian producer who is known for his deep melodic progressive influenced sounds, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive. It's all about the groove, cool house vibes and the deep driving beats that are working their magic around Astral Base's wonderfully arranged keys and the wonderful use of elements on offer. Astral Base once again has reminded us with his classy rework why we are so fond of him.

Next up we welcome Evegrem to the label with a gem of a remix. His purely deep progressive rework grabs you from the word go. Interspersing filtered stabs and a stunning groove which beautifully leads into a drop full of tension and excitement are the name of the game. The understated yet driving bassline powers the groove along, as Evegrem keeps the energy up, allowing the driving melodic house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser.

With 'Gaia' Ätherisch really shows that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful gem guides you to a full-on club laden, melodic hug of a release that will cause many smiles induced moments! Released in July 2021, Juan Deminicis produced another slice of progressive heaven with his twin-track "Water". With a remix EP on Proton Music in the pipeline, Particles also creates its very own remix edition with reworkings from Polish and Argentinean artists.

Rafal Ligienza has been at the forefront of the progressive house scene for over a decade with his Rafa'EL moniker. Including occasional forays into deep house and melodic techno, the Polish artist has drawn praise through his monthly "Infusion" show on Proton Radio, while music signed to such esteemed imprints as Mango Alley, Univack and GMJ & Matter's Meanwhile Horizons, has seen Rafa'EL hit the heights with an assortment of production work. Centred around two original EPs, June 2018's "Twin Flames" and November 2019's "Floating Moments", showcased Rafa'El's unique and impressive sound for Particles, while remixes for Rauschhaus and Mariner + Domingo are now joined by a third.

Reworking the title track, the Rafa'EL remix of "Water" takes the striking percussive groove of the original and uses it as a foundation from which a flowing melodic piece forms pulsating waves of sound over its 7-minute timeframe. Subtle use of the Mila Belini's vocals drift in ethereal patterns across the mid-range as new synth lines from the Rafa'EL production studio work their magic across the breakdown and into the third movement. The result is a shimmering new version full of sonic colour.

A new artistic pairing from the foothills of the Sierra Chicas, Córdoba duo, Alto Astral have quickly established a reputation within the progressive house genre with their live performances and DJ sets. Making their debut on April 2021's Fabri Lopez compiled "Prod Community II" for Balkan Connection, June's "Time Shifter" EP showcased a pair of dynamic original tracks in collaboration with Andrés Moris.

Now making their Particles debut, the Alto Astral remix of "Rebellion" drives powerfully forwards with a strong rhythmic foundation and rolling percussive groove. Subtle vocal flourishes from the original make their presence felt in freeform patterns while new synth lines weave a new aural tapestry across the 8-minute remix. Adding white-noise effects, snare roll and chugging bass groove to the mix, the second half explodes into a wall of sound complete with new melodic sequencing.

Continuing to flow with a vibrant vitality, Juan Deminicis finds "Water" continuing to quench his thirst with remixes from Rafa'EL and Alto Astral.
