Got his start in the late 90’s playing jungle/dnb with local DJ crew Bionic Jazz, DJ’ing weeklies at 735 Bourbon St., The Whiskey Bar, Afterburn. More recently co-founding and DJ’ing the short lived Spectrum house parties, playing warehouse parties and various one-off events.

You might not recognise the name but you will have definitely heard Surgence in the past. He operates under the name Bazil and has been a member of Dreadzone for over 10 years. Here he settles into his latest alias with these special pre-release tracks on Dublin label inHabit. Mood Planet and Isolate VIP carry his dub stylings but hit with a much heavier, techier bedrock.
