I think buying the Polyend Tracker is going to open a new creative part of my brain, as in this track I explore guitar, vocal, synth and house style drum beats a lot more than in my other work, which is more ambient/chillout. 

Feels like a new chapter might be about to unfold, which is exciting.

The track ended up as a well rounded long pattern last night on the tracker. This morning I added more slots in the song design screen, creating space for some other variations and indeed further samples at a later point.

Bio:
Nachtwald is an alias of Dutch cult figure Johnny Hoorneboeg. His music is a dark and experimental take on what he calls "deep-fried electro" and is heavily inspired by the DIY driven legacy of the 1990s/2000s The Hague squat scene (West Coast Sound of Holland) with artists like Legowelt, Rude66, IF etc. Since mid-2024 he has issued the Delete The Internet EP (Roulette Rekordz) and the Call Me Back EP (New York Haunted) under his project name: Nachtwald. Each balancing raw synth energy with eerie minimalism. His tracks like "Hit The Streets" have earned rotation on Dave Clarke’s White Noise and placement in underground European tip compilations.

Welcome to my rumbling beats! Hope you enjoy them. The fusion of Hip-Hop with Jazz in the 90s was the starting point for my musical adventures. After taking a break for several years, I resumed my musical adventure in 2022. Main influences for my music are 90s Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, Jazz, and Funk.

Main equipment: Akai MPC One+, Logic Pro, ARP Odyssey.

I create electronic music using a combination of hardware and software instruments from my cosy home studio in Berkshire. I also run a Podcast called Modulations that features recent found sounds and created soundscapes.

Sketchs Day jams , samples, instruments sequences ,patchs synths, artworks , draws and photos...etc  home-made :)
It's a day's work in general, I keep the mistakes from the live arrangements, and from the instrument sequences.
Sometimes without a timeline, I try to keep an organic and improvised side, analog, digital, whatever ;)
