We’ve been waiting patiently for the return to our beloved Bass Coast - the reunion of the year, the highlight of the summer!

In anticipation for Bass Coast, @jolucamusic has put together a list of artists the crew is looking forward to + a mix curated entirely of songs from this years lineup. This year Night Vision will be returning with their NV Showcase on Sunday at the Cantina Stage from 10-1:30pm!

Bass Coast is a world class treasure known for delivering the full package: a seamless umbrella of art, music and community. Naturally, this year’s line-up is stacked and special. Our new track “Lifted” is finally here. We had so much fun creating this one, bringing together this unique vocal sample with some growly UKG bass and shuffling up the drums - it’s our love letter to the UK sounds that continue to inspire us.

It’s an absolute honor for us to release this banger through Zeds Dead's esteemed Altered States imprint. This is a label we’ve had our sights set on for quite some time, and we’re stoked to share our music with their awesome fanbase.

Tensnake's True Romance maintains a sunny outlook despite the weather. Still, in the spring and early summer, the zeitgeist of the seasonal shift begins to reflect the optimism of the label's output.
Hedonistic cuts from Gerd Janson, Ben Gomori and Tensnake have paved a vibrant path for True Romance and next in line is the first release from Cacao Records and Whoyostro affiliate - the Los Angeles-based duo - Joluca.

With a catalogue of swooning grooves and plenty of experience under their belts - the duo present 'Steps Of The Met'; an exuberant dance floor track which encapsulates the buzz of summer. Gorgeous keys that give way to tuned, tumbling vocal slices and rich chords. The breakdown opens things up before a playful, funky bassline spear into the mix to keep things pinned firmly to the dance floor.

An 80's guitar lick peppers the track's progression as a vivid, Miami-tinged spirit is bought to life and another coup for True Romance is bought to a close.

PREMIERE: Joluca - Steps Of The Met  [TRUE ROMANCE]

Get ready for Summer as Joluca and Thomas Garcia join forces to deliver their most ambitious project to date. Over two years in the making, “Just a Dream" is a testament to their creative energies, featuring original vocals, guitar, and bass that seamlessly blend into an infectious track that’ll surely be heard on dance floors all season long.
On remix duties, the boys connected with long time favorites Lauer and Felipe Gordon. In his signature style, Lauer injected 80s flavor transforming the vocal-laden original into an Italo-tinged dub with soaring acid lines and snappy snares. From the other side of the globe,
Felipe took the track in a totally different direction, crafting an almost nine minute cosmic adventure with emotive strings and thundering bass.
Completing the package is a VIP mix that strips things back and turns up the bass for a more minimal, DJ-friendly take on the original.
Scheduled for release this July, "Just a Dream" sets the stage for the complete EP, available digitally and on vinyl this Fall.
