This week Hexstatic in the mix as they celebrate the release of new single ‘Gammera’ this Monday, the first release on Robin Hexstatic’s new imprint Lower Level Records.
    The mix sees some of the influence affecting this direction and takes in tracks from ‘Gammera’ remixers Akira Kiteshi, with his awesome take on the The Pinball Number Count, and George Lenton, bringing some old, cold rocking samples bang up to date. Beautifully complex crunk from Reso starts us off and leads us through releases from pop pioneers Gorrillaz and Massive Attack,.. ending up-tempo with some older faves from Pantha Du prince and Joy Orbison. Gammera single out this Monday 22nd, with a special Bandcamp bundle featuring all three mixes and the Gammera remix iPod video.
