We all have secrets. The pain of the past and holding on to these experiences dim the light of our authentic selves and our connection to our creative source.

🎼 "Slaughterhouse" tells my story of years of pain, abuse, and betrayal. The internal struggle, withholding and repressing these experiences, afraid of the judgment and shame that hovered over me like a bad dream, completely withheld me from experiencing the world and myself in my true power. It's taken years to find the courage to release the emotions I've held on to and to channel it into my outlet for healing - music 🤍

🖋 We've all got a story. Express it. It doesn't have to be expressed as a song or a form you release publicly. Tell it in a way that fits you. Process it, release it, and take away its power over you. What's been done to you does not control you. You decide what to make of these experiences and use them as stepping stones of resilience.

Influenced by the iconic sounds of the 90s and 2000s—from Christina Aguilera and Amy Winehouse to 2NE1—Ninji’s style is an electric blend of female hip-hop, soul, and indie/alternative sounds. 

After surviving a life-altering accident in 2021, Ninji’s work took on new depth, infused with resilience, purpose, and an unapologetic edge. A creative visionary, she transforms her experiences into vibrant performances that tackle complex themes and celebrate individuality, leaving an artistic presence that’s impossible to ignore.
