I programmed this over a year ago but never recorded it for some reason. This was originally written by W.G. Snuffy Walden for what I consider to be the greatest television show of all time, THE WEST WING.

Montreal (allegedly) has the second highest number of restaurants per capita in North America. For the first instalment of our new food series, we sat down with JP Karwacki, the Editor of Time Out Montreal, to learn all about Time Out Market- essentially a food court on steroids, with a goal of highlighting & showcasing the best that the city has to offer! He breaks down the curation process and details some of the offerings you can find there, then, we talk about fad diets, veganism, and the benefits of farm-to-table. Then, we talk about what we'd do if we could open our own idyllic small-town cafes & bakeries. Finally, we argue about chicken, pizza, pasta, and salad, to decide which 2 will move on to the next round of our food bracket!

For the fifth instalment of our Munch Madness food series, we had a slight change of plans, due to, you know, the global pandemic and whatnot. Tom, alone in the studio, calls up Kate, Jeremiah, and Adrianne, to pick their brains about how this quarantine has effected their eating habits, what they're all doing to stay afloat, and to wish Adrianne the best while she moves back to Chicago. And, of course, this being Munch Madness, we vote to decide who goes forward into the Semi-Finals!

We also talk about the reality & challenges of being a cook at a time when lots of restaurants are closing down and laying off their staff. Also, Tom and Kate reflect on quarantine life and try to find some silver linings to all the social distancing.
