This track aims to deeply engage the audience, drawing them into the sombre truth of the topic's destructive essence; drug addiction and its impact on mental health and society as a whole.

The message is relayed by the narrator who is on the journey of recovery from drug addiction and has painfully witnessed the loss of numerous friends to addiction and mental health issues over the last decade. The narrator has become used to the cyclic pattern and can only grieve by speaking his mind via a musical medium.

Through his inner monologue, the narrator reveals his personal emotions, whilst also sending a veiled message to the drug dealers that value financial profit over human life.

Integrating spoken word/rap commentary serves to spotlight the escalating issues of drug addiction, mental health struggles, suicide, the loss of loved ones. Sombre themes, yet delivered over an engaging, rhythmic, upbeat, familiar and catchy soundtrack.
The track's instrumental component reimagines elements from Liquid Liquid's "Cavern", later remixed by Mellie Mel and Grandmaster Flash in their piece;
"White Lines - (Don't Do It)" which similarly revolves around drug addiction. 

This is interlaced with the signature lead synth from Van Halen's 1983 track "Jump", accompanied by an original backing beat and a corresponding music video which can be found here:

The video reflects the relentless cycle of anguish and torment that people with addiction and/or mental health issues that addicts and their loved ones have to endure on a daily basis. This piece is purposely repetitive and intended to encapsulate the despair of being stuck in a relentless, agonising loop from which they can't seem to break free, hence the reference to the common phrase; “Groundhog Day”.
