I'd been sitting on this one for a while. It was triggered by one of the examples listed in the song. The tag refers to this eerie feeling that I might have reproduced a song by The Eels (https://soundcloud.com/the_eels). Oh well, we all have influences I guess...

Hope you like it as it is but there is plenty of space for other instruments if you feel you can make it better: violin, cello, very light keyboards, additional vocals or... just about any proposition, really. Everything will be dutifully considered.

Yet another open collab for this song about the lack of communication (which might well have been inspired by my relationship with my beloved but impossible 5 year-old daughter Saràn).

I'm open to all offers of collaboration should you find this track interesting enough (I've kept it very basic on purpose) but what I especially have in mind would be for another soundclouder to write a chorus (which could take the form of an answer) in the two instrumental parts following verse 1 and verse 2.

I didn't manage to get the distortion I wanted on that one. Somehow my Korg pedal and my Tascam recorder don't seem to get along very well. Consequently this version is still quieter than I'd like it to be and my solo sucks as usual but I like the 2-voice effect. 

Call it a work in progress I guess. :)
