My passion / focus is on the musical composition, instrumentation, arrangement and production whilst my collaborative partners are normally focused on lyrics, vocal melodies and recording which I then incorporate in the mix and produce to completion / mastering.

Even though I scream inside because of America's shit show, I'm still Rebecca, an old hippie rocker. When you read my comments, hear them in a southern drawl. I’m a liberal from Georgia … yes, we do exist. I moved to Hawaii about 20 years ago. 

I’ve been around the block a few times. Played a lot of guitar and a bit of other instruments. Mostly I've worked as a visual artist. I've spent some years in the music biz with a major label and my own indie label. I’ve done some other interesting things, too, including: horse training, long motorcycle trips, movie set design, accompanying my wife on her pro bowling tours, and I've seen a good bit of the world. Gaz Brownie music projects is a collection of collaborative work from more recent projects to the bands I have played in over the years.
Been singing since the age of 15 in bands and various music projects.
I play guitar on my solo stuff but really only as a vehicle to write songs and finds cords for vocal melodies, and also a little keyboards. 
To date I have recorded and wrote/ co wrote over 200 songs in a professional studio environment, working with established producers . Played endless live gigs with numerous bands and projects.
I have had music published, appeared on TV/radio, Music videos, released albums, Eps and singles, on several different labels. 
Style preference is a indie pop/rock vibe focusing on interesting lyrics, vocal melodies and catchy chorus lines.
