Justin K. Broadrick returns to Pi Electronics with his second full EP under the moniker "JK Flesh”.
This latest release also features a remix by the German industrial techno legend, Ancient Methods.

Diverging from his previous offering, "PI04," PI11 unveils JK Flesh's real slow burners— a crossover between industrial and dub-techno. 
Broadrick’s mastery in industrial music meets his dub influences, resulting in meticulously crafted organic textures and relentless, tormenting dub-leaning techno beats. This EP is for those who appreciate music that unfolds gradually and rewards patient listeners.

Ancient Methods' take on PI11.2  is a demonstration of his distinctive and trademark sound, perfectly transforming the depth of the original track into an industrial techno banger.

The 11th instalment of the Pi Electronics EP series brings together two titans of industrial aesthetics: a UK musician boasting four decades of cross-genre music-making and one of the scene's most respected DJs and producers. The record comprises three original tracks, along with the remix, pressed onto 180-gram black vinyl,  including an A5 insert. Additionally, two digital extra originals complement the physical release, providing a comprehensive sonic journey through Broadrick's work.

Downwell is an electronic project by Giorgi Kolbaia, a Tbilisi-based musician and DJ.  The debut EP released by Oraculo Records, titled “I See Death in Your Eyes”, set the tone for the project by showcasing its characteristic blend of EBM and techno, offering an experimental listening experience. 

The runner-up, “Oppression Index”, picked up by X-IMG, is an eight-track journey packing a punch, a powerful embodiment of the artist’s reflections on the political milieu in his native Georgia, as well as the struggles of various people around the world. Downwell’s latest EP, “Relative Strangers”, was captured on wax by Persephonic Sirens.

Sonically, the Swedish duo SHXCXCHCXSH distort the club context they work from by rendering functionality with an exceptionally refined and idiosyncratic palette. As logophiles, they contort the little descriptive context they afford audiences by imploding language into splintered and barely comprehensible character sequences. The impression is that each is the result of mutual process-driven experiments. 
This is all true of '......t', their new album and debut recording for Northern Electronics. However, working at this scale, SHXCXCHCXSH play with wider parameters and explore broader functions to produce their most comprehensive and focused work to date. 
Across fifteen tracks, their bespoke dark matter is stacked with drone pyrotechnics, shredded vocals, and oblique, snatched sounds that eddy into frantic melodic storms. Sublime intensity is spiked with effervescent yet brooding intermissions throughout, staking '......t' as the most crucial volume of their catalogue as it gestures toward new references.”

London based electronic music label Khemia Records announces its second split release vinyl Ep. 

Aurora on the Lunar side is a new work created for Khemia by venerable Canadian producers Orphx. 

Crepuscular, infrasonic hydro-acoustics submerge padding rhythms, emerging gradually through oscillations and the caustic snarl of static, into a mutant echo chamber of polyrhythmic hypnosis and fractal bleeps to be finally swept away by vast, billowing swathes of spectral harmonics. 

Emboli, on the Solar Side is a new track written specially for Khemia by the enigmatic sound artist Rrose. 

Cascades of iridescent particles coruscate against the shadow of an ominous dirge, crashing into a wall of slurred rhythm that opens into a glacial abyss, punctuated by a fearfully insistent whiplash that finally dissolves into a quantum field of bituminous drones.

"The Empire Line present six cyclonic episodes for confined spaces on their debut album, 'Rave.'

Comprised of Posh Isolation's Christian Stadgaard (Damien Dubrovnik, Vanity Productions), Jonas Rönnberg (Varg), and with Isak Hansen (Iron Sight) on tantrums, the trio's marauding live shows have been translated into a slippery set of pummelling techno works, watermarked with florid noise.

'Rave' is a celebration of contemporary rave culture, focused on the everlasting and transcendent as the night slips out past the day. With living-for-the-weekend hedonism irretrievably converted into a manicured, violent cliché, building new worlds and forging new modes of intimacy takes an exceptional sincerity. Naming some of the crews closest to The Empire Line in the album's titles, their spaces are examples of just how rave culture persists as a transgressive stronghold in people's lives.

Ranging from k-hole anthems to jacking, close-range sessions, 'Rave' still bears the traces of the group's experimental background, ensuring the tension is kept up through the catharsis."

Packed with haunting soundscapes and bellicose rhythms, the third official release from German talent Denise Rabe, 'The Frog Picks a King', is a slice of exigent techno that is not to be trifled with.

Ahead of her release, we offer up Canadian duo Orphx's remix of 'Lucy's Dream' - a track with such a sinister fusion of rhythm and noise that it will lure the listener through the haze that separates reality and the dream states.

Worst Records' hall of fame welcomes new faces around the pool for a 13-stages enlightened drama. You'll meet again with the top 3 podium made of A Strange Wedding, Jacques Satre and Christian Coiffure, all rensponsible for our first three releases, building up a mesmerizing, out of season mental workout. Extending the dimension of trance towards Saint-Etienne, Del.Duc brings on a curious yet serene astral travel, and we can also count on the distant reinforcements from the Toulouse Gouffre Club crew with Jan Loup and her glitch spangled hazy dub from far futures and the new trance comer from Bordeaux, Lazuli.
Special friends are also gathering here, as Myako is sewing on thin fabric a vaporous dub in shades of grey, the one-and-only master touki Théo Muller delivers a cinematic remedy to confinement.
Liberation through hearing, it is, as borders explode with the presence of many : Yin Yang Audio in a transatlantic IDM/break jump, Forest on Stasys (aka Mental Resonance) and his tough shamanic dance, Clemens Friedrich slowing down all senses at once and JEANS, boss of Oracle Bones, speeding us up in the hyperloop.
Finally, as teamwork means a lot, we have given the pleasure to open this compilation to the four-headed Lausanne/Freiberg hydra 4POTR and their cryptic transdimensional message, and the honor of closing this pool party to the 404 trio gem from Candoblé with a fine piece of wonder.

Not exactly your usual summer compilation, nor the hits you could imagine, but surely the music you'll need under the hot sun of 2020.
