I'm Kaya. I'm a multi-disciplinary artist born and raised on Turtle Island, known as Vancouver, BC. Both classically trained and self-taught, my musical style ranges from folk, RnB to Hip Hop, trap and EDM. 

My aim as an artist is to create honest and real music from the depth of my Human Experience, in hopes that those who need the Reflection will Resonate. I'm basically just another human living life. With every high and low, I do my best to feel into what is there for me to learn and transmute that into Songs to Release stories that may otherwise get stuck. The alchemizing of my feelings into music honestly heals me, and I hope it can help you heal you too! bless.

I like to spin Drum and Bass, sometimes i dabble in Dubstep or Breakbeats or Electro House, but my one true Love is DNB! I hope to make a name for myself here in Vancouver and you can help me do that by suggesting this page to anybody you think will like it. My mixes will always be free and they are usually done live at my house with little thought to challenge myself to grow as a DJ.
I have recently been working on building my sets to work with key changes and tempo shifts to vary the mood and build tension and release for the live sets.
Biography:	

I caught the DNB bug back in 1995 and have been quietly rustling up the tunes and equipment to throw down where ever and when ever. 2009 saw me debut at a giant film warehouse new years eve private function where I threw down two sets, one DNB/dubstep and the other I rang in the new year with some electro house/breaks. 2010 was more house parties and private functions. 2011 sees me throwing down  with  The Sound Function Benevolent Crew.

TeeJay is one of Canada’s best-known Ukulele Street Performers, based out of Victoria and Vancouver BC. TeeJay’s unmistakeable sound and showmanship has earned him a well-respected place among the local music and busking scene. He released his first studio album, “BETTER HERE THAN NOWHERE” on March 31 2012. Followup albums: “the art of audio”(Nov2012); “Universal Thought Of Bliss”(April2013); his next album, “FOUR” was released on March 01 2014. TeeJay releases his FIFTH STUDIO ALBUM, titled 'DANCE WITH ME' - which includes for the first time ever - TeeJay's own musical compositions, whcih are taking the new music scene by storm. It is slated for release on MARCH 31 2022.
