This Sound Healing Journey is created with the intention to help you align, activate and balance your chakras using specific healing frequencies and sound healing instruments like tuning forks, singing bowls and gongs to enhance and amplify your healing intentions.

With this template I created a journey for each chakra, starting with the Root Chakra going all the way up to the Crown Chakra. A chime sound indicates the transition to the next chakra. You can intuitively feel into how to work with this Sound Healing Journey but one example would be to breathe into the specific chakra visualizing the color it represents and on the inhale you breathe in new fresh energy and on the exhale you visualize old and blocked energy leaving the chakra. Your breath and imagination are very powerful tools to faciliate change and healing in your life. Please make sure to drink plenty of water after the sound journey to help the integration and cleansing process.

The PLANETARY CHAKRA HEALING TEMPLATE was created in collaboration with the Sound Therapist and Electronic Music Producer Evelin Ludwig aka EVENARIS. Evelin provided high quality studio recordings of her planetary tuned sound healing instruments like Tuning Forks, Gongs, Monochord,, Crystal Bowls and Tibetan Bowls.

Planetary Tuning goes back to the discovery of the Swiss Mathematician and Music Scientist Hans Cousto who calculated the frequencies of the planets within our solar system and by using the principle of the "Cosmic Octave" translated them into a Tone, Frequency, Tempo and Tuning that we can apply to tune instruments and create healing sounds and meditative music that has a harmonizing effect. Sound Healing instruments some of which were used for this template like Gongs, Tuning Forks and Singing Bowls are produced tuned to the frequencies based on his calculations.

We based our template on those calculations by Hans Cousto:

Root Chakra: Earth Day 194.18 Hz, Tone "G", Tuning 435.9 Hz, Tempo 91 Bpm

Sacral Chakra: Synodic Moon 210.42 Hz, Tone "G#" Tuning 445.86 Hz, Tempo 98.63 Bpm

Solar Plexus Chakra: Sun 126.22 Hz, Tone "B" Tuning 449.8 Hz, Tempo 118.3 Bpm

Heart Chakra: Earth Year 136.10 Hz, Tone "C#" Tuning 432.10 Hz Tempo 63.8 Bpm

Throat Chakra: Mercury 141.27 Hz, Tone "C#" Tuning 448.51 Hz Tempo 66.2 Bpm

3rd Eye Chakra: Venus 221.23 Hz, Tone "A" Tuning 442.46 Hz Tempo 103.7 Bpm

Crown Chakra: Platonic Year 172.06 Hz Tone "F" Tuning 433.56 Hz Tempo 80.60 Bpm

So each Chakra has its specific tuning, tone, frequency and tempo and all the instruments and sounds are tuned and timed accordingly to achieve a maximum of harmonic resonance atonement.

CHAKRA ALIGNMENT  SOUND HEALING JOURNEY

Shika Shika is proud to present Campo de Cielo, a collaboration between Coro Qom Chelaalapi and producer Lagartijeando. The release celebrates the 60th anniversary of the indigenous choir from Northwest Argentina, making it the longest-running continuously active musical group in Latin America. 

Following their first release together in 2019, Campo del Cielo marks the second collaboration between the choir and producer Matias Zundel. The EP offers 3 tracks produced by Lagartijeando that experiment with Qom traditional sounds within the context of organic electronic downtempo. To complement this, Campo del Cielo includes 3 original unedited recordings of Coro Qom Chelaalapi, recorded by Lagartijeando in Resistencia, Chaco. 

About Campo del Cielo: 
Campo del Cielo (Field of the Sky) refers to a vast region of northern Argentina located in the Southern Chaco, bordering the provinces of Chaco y Santiago del Estero, that was struck by an iron meteor shower approximately 4000 years ago - the results of an asteroid exploding upon entering the Earth’s atmosphere.

This song arrived shortly after my first read of Nisargadatta Maharaj's 'I AM THAT'. The lyrics flowed from there.

Joining the release of my debut single 'I Am' is the gentle magical touch of Intiche (@intiche) who took the original song and crafted his own unique expression. Intiche's frequency has always evoked a sense of balance for me - a strong anchoring into the earth while equally connected to the air, the sky and the stars. This is the same relationship I hold to the music I write and it's an honor to have him join me on this single.

"Are fairies real? If so are there so many types of fairies, fairy dentists, fairy lawyers, and fairy shamen? In fact, fairy shamen are real, they like to dance, sing, and play instruments like flutes, drums, and synths. In fact, about 10,000 years ago fairy healers were having a flute and drum circle and had not had any rain in quite a while in their little forest. They wished for rain day after day and they decided to turn their wish into a song. The young producer, Joseph DeFaria aka J•POOL, originally from the south of Canada, has been living a nomadic lifestyle for most of his adult life. Working in the forests of Canada in the summers as a tree planter, and traveling the rest of the year, Joe started his project "J•POOL" with the goal of creating music that is inspired by the many different natural environments in which he spends his life. His intention is to produce music that will make people move and feel the connection to their innerself and the world around them.

The „Awakening“ EP was carefully composed, blending rhythmic and melodic elements from around the world to form a colourful, meditative collage of sound. Soundscapes of natural environments dance with the instrumentation to create a lush, submersing organic experience.

We feel the urge to get up and run into the jungle as Steffen Ki's ambient revision starts to echo from the distance. Our senses are greatly hightened. We can hear every single sound with high precision. The cacophany of the jungle sounds like the most beautiful orchestra we have ever heard. Each creature contributing with it's unique sound to this masterful synfonia. We start to sniff all those colorful flowers and get lost in the abundance of all those enchanting scents. Like someone who is drunk we tumble blissfully through the jungle inhaling each moment. Each breath feels like the universe is expanding and contracting within us. Waves of gratitude are followed by showers of amazement about the fact the we and ALL this exist. The feeling is so strong that it's almost frightening us but then just in the right moment a lush rain starts to come down from the sky, supporting us with refreshing clear water. We enjoy this shower for a while and slowly feel like things are getting back to what we used to call normal. Soaked completely wet and still not sure what just happened we decide to back to the fire place to warm us up and dry our clothes. As we arrive the shaman looks at us with a smile that says “Welcome Home”.

Janax Pacha - Bamboo (Steffen Ki Revision)

Considered one of the pioneers of electronic organic music, Intiche‘s journey, he claims, started even before travelling from Argentina to Berlin for the first time in 1999. Indeed, the celebrated DJ and producer proclaims his “passion for music began some past lives before this one”. Nevertheless, it’s in the last twenty years of this life that the downtempo DJ has made considerable impact.

From an acoustic starting point, Intiche’s compositions find inspiration in Pachamama (“Mother Earth”) and earthy frequencies. Using traditional instruments, native to Latin America, Intiche’s trance-like productions deftly traverse history, weaving links between ancient indigenous cultures and modern club culture. Intiche’s music intends to “touch the soul” as much as make people dance and, accordingly, you’re just as likely to find him playing at Berlin’s Berghain or Beate Uwe as at ceremonies, yoga festivals, healing gatherings and “Ecstatic Dances” around the world. We’re grateful to have Intiche drop in for a Con Alma Mixtape.

" Rezo a la Tierra " is an improvisation that was created during the quarantine at Tulum. 
Many of the instruments used were from Casa Mama Yeami the place that hosted me during this interesting moment of the world.  My intentions on "prayer to the earth" is to use this amazing shift that Co-Vida brought to be more connected with nature, with stillness, patience, entering another time another dimension.  
this amazing holistic center is in the middle of the jungle in the Caribbean of Mexico.
