"This magical record label has become an essential 'instrument' and frequency of the soundscapes and journeys that shape the Apukuna sound. This offering is a gift of gratitude for the medicine that is NUMA. In recent years as I've cultivated the Apukuna sound, the more I immersed into the NUMA releases, the more I found myself witnessing and experiencing the essence of NUMA in its entirety - as a tribe of medicine music makers. This is how this journey unfolded - NUMA: as told by Apukuna - is my experience of NUMA as told through 30 tracks released by the label over its many years.
