Heutzutage haben viele keinen Plan, 
was sollen sie tun, was fangen sie am besten mit ihrer Zeit an. Nach der Schule werden sie in die große weite Welt entlassen, für viele ist diese Freiheit erst einmal belastend. Soll es lieber das Ausland, die Ausbildung oder das Studium werden, sollte man sich lieber bei einem Betrieb oder doch einer Hochschule bewerben. Vorausgesetzt man hat ein Abitur, anderenfalls limitiert sich die Wahlnatur. So oder so das Leben schreitet weiter, entweder geradeaus oder auf Umwegen erklimmt man Stück für Stück die Sprossen der Lebensleiter. Jedoch treten immer wieder Phasen der Ratlosigkeit auf, man verzagt, verzweifelt und nimmt wohl oder übel Ungewissheit in Kauf. Vom Glück und allen guten Geistern verlassen, beginnt man das Leben und die Existenz zu hassen. Am tiefsten Punkt realisiert man schlussendlich, dass Dasein auf dieser Erde ist begrenzt und endlich. Es ist das größte Geschenk was man bekommen kann und plötzlich verspürt man wieder diesen unbändigen Tatendrang. Nun geht es unzweifelhaft wieder Bergauf und das Schicksal nimmt seinen Lauf. Man muss die Gelegenheit nur beim Schopf ergreifen, seinem inneren Ruf folgen, er wird dich zu Deiner Bestimmung leiten. 

Heute haben wir das DJ Duo MAMOR auf KataHaifisch zu Gast. 2014 folgten Max und Morten ihrer Leidenschaft zur elektronischen Musik und machten fortan gemeinsame Sache. In ihrem Sound finden sich unzählige Gefühlswelten wieder. Dabei sind sie stets bedacht, sich und ihr Klangbild weiterzuentwickeln. Eines ist bei den beiden jedoch sicher, es wird treibend und rhythmisch, versehen mit der gewissen Portion Wumms. MAMOR hat ein offenes Auge und Ohr für alle Facetten des Genres. Open Into Flame
 is a meditation, a prayer and a dance for personal and collective transformation. For the past month, I have been immersed in smoke from fires burning in the mountains to surrounding my home and from the hundreds of others burning nearby here in the Pacific Northwest of Canada/USA. The burning of entire towns, homes and livelihoods has moved me into tears and into deep reflection. What is our Earth Mother asking of us in this time? This music was chosen to tell the story of my own journey into this question. It's an invitation to open into your own flame and to support releasing, transforming and welcoming new beginnings. As Bība shares so eloquently in this mix, “It’s time for a change of skin. This shedding is underway. Snake shows us that this shedding is by fire. The skin burning away is a skin full of injustices, anger and violence. [The fire] is symbolic of moving away from the old ways and making way for the new. In these flames, our anger can now be seen, our shadow revealed by the glowing light. And in this fire now, it’s time to heal. At this time of great shedding, an energy channel is open- a line of light. This line of light is our lineage. Our path to awakening. This energy is open to all beings on earth to come into alignment with the unfolding mystery of our individual and collective evolution.”

Since there is a lot of fear and confusion on the planet right now and so much information and so many different agendas out there it can be hard to figure out the truth. That's why we created this sound healing journey to help you activate your "3rd Eye" and be able to tune into your internal truth and wisdom. Your higher self is the only authority you should listen to, because it knows what's right for you. Your truth might be completely different from the truth of someone else. Only YOU know what's good for you. Start listening again and TRUST your inner wisdom. Your intuition will guide you through the storm. One step at a time.

About the journey:
We used a sound healing concept called "Planetary Tunings" or "The Cosmic Octave" as a foundation for this Sound Journey. Its a way of re-attuning with the cosmos that creates balance and harmony within. Each energy center is resonated by a different planet. And based on their rotational movement a frequency can be calculated based on the formula of the cosmic octave by Hans Cousto. The 3rd Eye Chakra - The energy center that governs our ability to see the truth and have a clear mind and see a bigger picture or reality is resonated by the planet Venus.

The Venus tone regulates the Balance between intellect and intuition.
"Venus is the second inner planet of our solar system and its rotation around the sun lasts about 225 days. In the 32nd octave the venus tone oscillates with 221.23 Hz, that is an A. The tone of the Venus activates the third Eye and lets in a great flow of love energy and promotes inner harmony."

We also added a 4.5 Hz Binaural Beat which entrains the brain into a state of "Shamanic Consciousness". We believe that this state makes you more receptive to receive the information of your higher self.

And we also added sounds of dolphins and whales, who are wisdom keepers of ancient knowledge and highly intelligent and telepathic beings.

And Maywa has channeled specific frequencies to support the intention.

We highly recommend to listen on headphones for the best experience. Make sure to be in comfortable setting while listening. And for the maximum effect listen at least 21 days in a row. That's the time the brain needs to integrate new information into new habits and behaviours. Our breath is the most readily accessible medicine available to us. There are many ways to work with our breath and this series is in support of your practice. These particular breath medicine journeys are inspired by my own practice that is most similar to Holotropic Breathwork. For me, the breathing is deeper, a little faster, only through the mouth and only through the chest. Many others can find great benefit through the nose or using the belly. As this breathwork journey was coming together, Joanne Shenanodah breathed her last breath in this life on November 22, 2021. Prayers to Joanne on her journey into ancestorhood. Also included in this mix is a favorite for breathwork - Deya Dova’s Ancient Creation Mother - recorded on the edge of Kīlauea volcano crater on Hawai’i’s Big Island.

Apukuna (@Apukuna) curates and crafts a one-of-a-kind sound from the mountains of western Canada. As the electronic expression of musician Jon David, the Apukuna sound emerges from all regions of the earth through a deep process of listening, attuning and allowing. His musical journeys are best described as heart-beats.

As a DJ, Apukuna has become well known for his live remixes that can only ever be heard within his musical storytelling. Apukuna can be found guiding ecstatic dances, shaking dancefloors, supporting mediative spaces, and most recently on the playa of @BurningMan 2022. His presence on SoundCloud has attracted a devoted fanbase – particularly to his long-format storytelling that has come to support listeners around the world looking to be guided inward for healing and for remembering the love that we are.

Apukuna allows his sound to travel into multi-genre experiences and he uses every opportunity to adapt and expand his sound to support all spaces. For this mix, Apukuna was invited to offer his own expression of the established frequency of the Hydrated radio show. He offers this journey to you as a meditation, a movement and a prayer for an awakening heart.

The theme of the 2023 edition of BOOM Festival was Radical Love and I was inspired to curate a mix that would invite the listener to embrace all of oneself. A few hundred beautiful beings at the Prana Shala received the journey and it included the debut of the ambient remix by @intiche of my new singer-songwriter productions as Jon David (@jondavidmusic). The remix of 'I Am' seemed to find a magical placement following the words of Ram Dass and the musical genius of Jon Hopkins and East Forest.

Apukuna - Embracing You Sound Journey @ BOOM Festival 2023

Might just be the most involved dancefloor journey to have emerged from the @apukuna sound! What a magical evening. There was barely a moment where 4 decks weren't all flowing at once and it was a true highlight to introduce Richie Hawtin's Plastikman to the medicine icaros of Shipibo maestros and Ape Chimba!!! Plastikman's Kriket (1994) was a formative sound for me and this live remix helps tell some of that story of my journey since then. Holding the Dance Wave together was my first live collaboration with Blutopia (@blutopian) who brought his synths, flute and guitar to help open and close the journey and fill the interludes. Apukuna @ Ecstatic Dance Festival Cyprus 2024 (LIVE hybrid set)

Found my happy place at 1300m on the side of Babadağ - a magnificent mountain rising out of the Mediterranean in Turkey. 'Apukuna' is a Quechua word for mountain spirits so sharing this dancefloor journey on the side of a mountain was exactly where I wanted to be. This evening set included live percussion and vocals and a whole lot of dancefloor fun. Big love to the community that came together at Beyond Music & Arts Festival. Internationally-acclaimed for his Western interpretations of northern India's classical music, Stevin McNamara offers you this entrancing journey called Prana Groove. His signature acoustic stylings flow freely on a current of meditative percussion. A great addition to your yoga or bodywork playlist!

Prana = the Sanskrit word for basic primal vital energy which sustains and energizes the body. It moves through the breath.
Groove = rhythmic patterns which motivate the body to move.

The melodic element of Prana Groove is based on Rag Malkauns – a profound raga which is to be played late at night (usually midnight) – based on a pentatonic (5 note) scale. The large intervals between the notes create an intense emotional effect on the listener.

The tempo is 108 beats per minute, chosen for it's sacred Sanskrit value and effect. There are 108 different yet interwoven musical phrases presented throughout the piece.

"I created this music as an adventure into the realm of energy and movement," Stevin McNamara explains. "I used the ancient musical form of raga coupled with pulse and drum patterns found in trance and other traditions, such as Sufi Dervish ecstatic dance. I offer it as a celebration of life, of our connection to the earth and all living beings."
