This week https://soundcloud.com/jrhartleyibiza talks about an up and coming trip to New York for a gig at a new club from one of the original founders of legendary Studio 54. He talks about the track he collaborated on with fellow host Sadeedo and his other friend Peter Barroga, who all share a love of basketball and made a track using sounds recorded on the court. He plays a nice mix of ambient music to open the show followed by some funk and grooves that are typical of his new beach side residency and then wraps up with some low slung deep house. CLN is Colin Vincent's new electronic music project.
CLN, a magic formula that reduces his first name to 3 letters and forms the initials of "C'est la nuit" evoking a passage from the long prose poem "Il n'y a plus rien" by Léo Ferré.

Colin Vincent, a jack-of-all-trades musician, comes from the alternative rock scene, with his bands Iaross and Volin. He has been interested for some time in the production of electronic music and forms in 2022 MUET, his new Chanson-electronica project.
At the same time, he created CLN where he devoted himself to purely instrumental music allowing him to experiment with rich textures using his modular synthesizers.

With his first 6-track EP, 'Les Pôles’ released at Upton Park, he laid the foundations for an aesthetic that drifts between Boards of Canada-style electronic daydreaming, heady Steve Reich-style motifs and heavy 808 bass with Trap sauce.

In 2021 he co-founded the Montpellier collective "Patchwork", which regularly performs at Black Out to present musicians who perform live with only modular synthesizers.

Oblik Lines is the project of Sébastien Gulluni, a French composer and sound designer involved in electronic music with a certain cinematic feel.

As a former researcher in the field of computer music, Sebastien's work for Oblik Lines emphasis a desire to discover new sound colors and melt genres  by experimenting. His work combines melodic and textural material by using computers, hardware synthesizers and acoustic instruments. The result of these experiments is an organic mixture, definitively melodic. Sebastien claims the universality of music to transmit human emotions and creates a music that is both thought and accessible. To this end, he uses melodies and textures as a recall of our personal experiences.
