DJ CARO (they/them)

CARO is a Brooklyn-based artist born and raised between Cincinnati, OH and Oakland, CA respectively. A love letter to the Midwest and the pioneers of dance music, much of their sound is influenced by Detroit Techno and Chicago House and Footwork. They are known for their open-format, playful style peppered with airy synths and thumping bass. CARO runs a monthly late-night radio show called Third Orbit, is part of the STRAPT collective, DJ trio 3:33, and has been making waves in the electronic scene as a DJ and curator for over a decade.

"For this mix I wanted to highlight the sonic lineage between distinct genres, from Kuduro and Dub to Jersey Club and Florida Breaks. I also happen to have talented friends who make amazing music, so it was impossible not to include some of my favorite recent releases from artists like DJs Who Kiss, Bored Lord and nextdimensional. <3"

t33g33 a.k.a. Alyana Cabral (she/they) is a DJ, producer, and sound artist from the Philippines. Wholly immersed in Manila’s underground culture, she helps shape the current sonic landscape of local nightlife, through organizing and performing at parties with queer-powered platform, Elephant.
 
A versatile DJ well-versed in both analog and digital tech, her crate is regularly filled with 90s dance, acid & hard house, trance, hardgroove, and breaks. Fearless in her selections, t33g33’s multi-faceted sensibilities range in extremes, spanning from the soft and the ambient, to the brutal and the experimental. As a producer and performance artist merging sound with radical ritualistic practices, their music aims to decolonize and liberate, exploring frequencies of love, freedom, and bliss.

Andriy K. sets things in motion through his involvement in various cultural outlets. Born in Kiyv and now living in Prague, the Bike Jesus resident is playing stages and platforms and actively creating such for other artists throughout Europe. He hosts a bi-monthly show on Radio Punctum and curates the Motsion collective, showcasing the Ukranian electronic music scene and collaborate with scenes and venues such as Kwia in Berlin or Murmur in Amsterdam.
Woven from from organic textures and immersive sound etudes, the nostalgy transmitted in this journey inadvertently invites us to seek nature, seek retreat in the warmth of spring as we wander towards summer.
Embedded in a stream of crawling elements emotional soundscapes are going hand in hand with a realm of mystic signs. The melancholic theme in transition becomes tangible, moving us back and forth between cold and warm, conscious and subconscious, awake and asleep.
