FNOOB MIX JUNE 2025

This set was recorded on Sunday afternoon, May 17, 2025, during the TOHHNZIMMER x SYNERGIE event in Hamburg, on the Ambient Floor. 
The floor is located on the ground level of Tohhnzimmer e.V., with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer the dancing guests a view of the Bille river, which, despite the industrial area, is surrounded by plenty of green. 
Bailey Brown, resident DJ and co-founder of Tohhnzimmer, shares her thoughts on her set:

“Without even realizing it, I’ve been preparing for this set over the last 10 years. In 2015 Moby’s „Hotel Ambient“ album opened my ears and heart to ambient, atmospheric sounds, and electronic music with a noticeably slower BPM. 
After a Klubnacht, it suddenly clicked, and since then, I’ve been collecting tracks from this spectrum.

That’s why the track selection was the biggest challenge. I couldn’t decide and honestly, I would have loved to play my entire collection. Not to sound cheesy but the only no brainer was “Swear” from „Hotel Ambient“ because this track owns a very special in my heart.
After all these years behind the decks, where it’s always been all about the driving sets, these two hours weren’t just a refreshing change, but also a dream that finally found the right setting to come true. 
The time was blissfull, and it passed far too quickly. 
That’s why I’m even more grateful that we now have this recording, so we can experience it over and over again.”

Born in Southern Spain, this DJ and producer has immersed himself in the electronic music scene for over 15 years, beginning his journey at just 14 with his first pair of vinyl decks.
By the age of 17, he was already crafting his own tracks. After a decade of self-taught sound design and further studies in harmony, his current work showcases the immense potential
of this versatile and innovative electronic artist. For the past decade, he has focused primarily on Drum & Bass under the alias Impak. Establishing himself as one of the genre’s most influential figures in Spain. His finely honed productions frequently graced the Beatport charts, and his name became synonymous with top-tier Drum & Bass events. As a resident DJ at the iconic
Industrial Copera in Granada, he cemented his reputation while regularly headlining parties across the country. On the international stage, Impak became a recognized name, releasing music with esteemed labels such as Cause4Concern and earning support from key figures like Optiv, BTK, and Prolix. His sound echoed through venues across Europe on numerous tours, further solidifying his place in the global scene. In recent years, this wealth of experience has fueled his shift into the world of techno under the alias Atonism. With his second vinyl release on Freddy K's Key Vinyl label, as well as more than ten digital releases on respected labels such as Flash, Warok, Autonome, Cantilce and Olympian, Atonism’s sound is a blend of intellectual grooves and captivating rhythms. In the DJ booth, E2NMN crafts immersive experiences through the deeper
spectrum of techno, where atmospheric textures meet intricate rhythms and
powerful synth work. Her appearances at respected venues like Tresor’s New
Faces night have further cemented her presence within Berlin’s active techno
scene. E2NMN’s sets transcend mere movement, aiming to forge a deeper
connection and spark introspection on the dancefloor.
E2NMN relocation to Berlin ignited a deep immersion in the city’s vibrant after-
hours scene, leading to the co-founding of the Warum nicht? Kollektiv – a
testament to her early drive and collaborative spirit. E2NMN has also marked her
debut in France as a producer with the « Choices » EP on the emerging Parisian
imprint Void Records. Building on this momentum, she recently landed on the
label of Isabel Soto - now familiar with playing for the Berghain dancefloor -
signaling her emergence as a notable producer within her generation.

STNDRD is a Portuguese artist based in Barcelona, founder of Audio 
Magnitude label & co-founder of BAHN· Records and active member of 
the collective. 
He is well-known for his mental, hypnotic and dark soundscapes, Diogo 
always delivers an intense and unique sonic journey. 
Since he started production back in 2018, he has released his works on 
labels such as Soma, Edit Select, MindTrip, Newrhythmic, Nachstrom 
Schallplatten, Dynamic Reflection, Ucker or Selected Records.

Set the Mood with NRNT!

The 59th guest of the Set the Mood series is NRNT, a rising techno duo known for their deep and driving sound. For them, a perfect opening set is one that builds slowly and deliberately, setting a powerful foundation without revealing all too soon.

NRNT emerged at the end of 2023 and quickly made a strong impression on the scene. Their debut release, Chaos with Drumsauw — remixed by Dave the Drummer — received support from heavyweights such as Charlotte de Witte and Amelie Lens.

Not long after, they joined forces with Ramon Tapia’s Say What Records, releasing their Monolith EP — a powerful collection of tracks that showcase NRNT’s character-rich and hypnotic style.

At the same time, they launched their own imprint, No Rides No Techno (NRNT), as a platform for their unique vision of techno. The debut release Raveland immediately set the tone, and with upcoming tracks like Ignition, NRNT continues to shape a distinct sonic identity.

With a wave of new music on the horizon and growing international support, NRNT is quickly becoming a name to watch in the underground techno scene.
