AirplaneMode debut EP on @She'sSuperRecords

The EP kicks off with Is This Love, a beautifully woven, organic deep house groover. The drums ooze a vintage vibe as raw chords combine with a great bassline and funky keys. Cool vocals add character, making this a definite must have.

Burning Slowly follows, maintaining that AirplaneMode style with a deep infectious groove. Great vocals, saxophone and classic house elements shine through as the track gathers momentum. Tight beats, strong basses and enriched samples blend effortlessly into a solid groove.

Juda’s Kiss deeps the energy levels, beautiful chords are accompanied by cool percussions, subby basses and tight beats. Cool vocals, brilliant trumpets litter the groove adding character. Those distinctive chords are mesmerizing which will lead to dancefloor mayhem.


Outsiders closes this EP, taking us deeper into house. Punchy beats and crispy hats give off a classic vibe as warm piano chords come through. Plucky notes weave subtle melodies as subby basses rock the low end. Full of energy and drive, this will not disappoint.

One winter evening last year while we were having a beer in Piazza Santo Spirito in Florence, I noticed that my friend Louise had a beautiful vocal expression and I asked her, for fun, if she would like to record voices for some new music. I started working on something that could represent her character, until one afternoon we recorded without any particular idea and ended up, as usual, talking about love.

Clichè Italien is a project produced during the last months of my stay in Florence and contains all my feelings experienced in that period of my life, I owe a lot of my personal and artistic evolution to the city, but above all to the people with whom I have shared true emotions.

Back in Italy, after my trip to Australia, I open an old box of photographs of my family, and I find a real love story lived by my grandfather. It was 1971 and he, with the simplicity of mind of us islanders, was taking a woman around the island of Capri. Balancing in the deep blue sea they were enjoying life. Who knows how many months later these photos reached my grandfather, with a clear message:

''Remember This. I hope you stand there when I return to Capri''

This downtempo collection is inspired by the serene beauty of Capri Island and features some of the island’s most talented musicians. Each track is crafted to evoke the tranquil and picturesque atmosphere of the island, allowing you to embark on a sensory journey through its unique landscapes. 🌊

After spending the last winter on the island, I dedicated myself to studying music and immersing myself in the natural beauty that surrounded me. This experience was deeply transformative, reigniting my passion for music and helping me discover a new way to perceive and interact with the world around me. This EP is the culmination of that journey, a heartfelt tribute to the nature that captured my soul once again 🌿

The EP features unexpected collaborations with local artists who added depth and authenticity to the project. I am especially grateful for the friendship and collaboration with @almartinocapri , whose contributions have been precious throughout this journey. 🎶

Midnight in Anacapri closes this EP, taking us deeper into house. AirplaneMode teams up with with the amazing Al Martino ending this fantastic release with a touch of class. The groove idea started from the two friends AirplaneMode and the young and talented dj from Capri Gabriele Silvestri who also plays the last synth solo in this tune. On the track, a punchy beats and crispy hats give off a classic vibe as warm piano chords come through. Plucky notes weave subtle melodies as subby basses rock the low end. A Funky brass section hits the spot giving the track a funky and catchy groove. The break leaves the space for the full on solo saxophone by Al Martino before bringing us back to the main groove alongside a hook synth melody. Full of energy and drive, this will not disappoint.
